Welcome back Lotte!! Getting nervous for my 12 week scan on Friday--midwife didn't find heartbeat with the doppler last week but wasn't worried--just said it was too early. Dh can't go so I'll be @ the scan alone. My mother in-law offered to go, but I don't know--I think if it's bad news I would rather face it alone...

How cruel of the nurse - Try not too worry too much.

I hope tomorrow goes well for you - I'm sure all is fine it is very early to hear on Doppler -

xx

Good luck with your scan tomorrow Blakesmom. Thinking of you and hoping for the best.

Lotte, how was your trip? New York?

Oooh only 2 weeks to go. Fingers crossed for first time xx

Had another lot of bloods yesterday after ong appointment and rising nicely. Its now 566. Hopefully it continues to increase and tomorrows bloods are just as good.

Nice rise Jacky! It sounds like they are monitoring you nicely :)

Have my specialists appointment next Thursday and she will want to do a scan. Won't be able to see much though since I will only be 5wk4d. Ong wanted to do one at 6.5wks but we're away on holidays so booked in for 8 wks when get back. Just trying to stay relaxed.

Trip was amaziny - Ny was out of this world! I really enjoyed it - it was good to get away from everything.

I am abit worried now though - I have been taking hpt's and there was a faint line before I went away. I took one this morning hoping there would be no line since it had been 2 weeks, and i'm sure it was darker. I am definately not pregnant - I had my period at the weekend. I'm hoping it was just more concenetrated wee from travelling - but I am really worried my hcg has increased. My logical mind tells me its gone down all year - why woudl it go up now.

I'm going to do a test tomorrow morning - hopefully it was just abit of dehydration - I drink loads of squash normally and in the US they don't seem to drink it - idk.

I'm fed up as well cause this means that my hcg will definenately not be neg this week.

Good luck tomorrow for your test Lotte. I hope its the traveling. Traveling can throw things out for a few days especially changing time zones and jet lag. Fingers crossed for a negative. Sending big hugs xx

Thanks Jacky :)
I have my next test on Sunday and should get the results next Weds. I'll try another test tomorrow - I am definately a poas addict!

I mean surely its unlikely to be a rise now.......

Yep--we definitely don't drink squash here--squash is a vegetable--now I'm going to have to google what your squash is... When is your next Blood draw Lotte??

Yep--No squash drink here--this is what I found: Squash is popular in the United Kingdom, Malta, Pakistan, Ireland, India, Scandinavia, South Africa, Kenya, Australia, Israel, New Zealand, and Hong Kong.

It is generally not available in the United States. When it is available there, it is quite expensive.

:hugs: hope all goes ok! It must be super hard to relax but try as much as you can.

Thanks Dan-o. Glad the betas came back fine and that you got a + opk! I think we are going to start trying this month. Af turned up last weekend and so i will hopefully ovulate in 2 weeks. I was waiting till June, but to be honest cx have advised i wait although didn't try to put me off. I suppose because it wasn't molar, just sticky placenta.

I will see how i feel but think i'm just going to go for it. I Am so d up of waiting!

Good luck for your scan - i think as long as you know what to expect for a 5w4d scan you will be fine.

Tina - next blood draw is sunday with results on weds, so fx'd for then!

Let us know how you get on tomorrow, i am sure baby is just fine.

I do think it was really irresponsible of the nurse to do that, after what we've been through, just to leave you hanging. It really makes me angry.

I've got my fingers crossed for GREAT results for you!! My midwife was VERY disorganized about my whole visit. Their practice combined with the practice I was referred to for my D&C so I don't think she even knew who I was :dohh: My old chart info apparently hadn't been transferred and then she wasn't prepared about knowing any of my molar history and it was a mess--She said: "We will probably want to ultrasound you more often"-- My reply was :"yep--I've already had two"--then she said; "Oh yes I do see those now". Maybe next time it will go more smoothly tho honestly now that my midwives are with this new practice I might transfer care as I don't really like the "clinic" setting--I prefer more personal care if that makes sense. Or at least someone who will review my history and pretend to give me more personal care.
