Molar and Partial Molar Pregnancy Support Group

Thanx ladies :)

So next step is awaiting a social worker visit from baby boys social worker...if house and me & hubby ok she books a date for matching panel 4-6 weeks away...following that we'll meet any medical advisors and foster careers!

Then we go to matching panel, an if all ok we meet our boy the next week or so!!! Spend 7 days at his foster careers meeting him an understanding the routine an bonding then on day 8 he comes home!!

I'll keep you updated when we've met his worker!! Im hoping time is kind to us and this part won't take long!!!!

Happy Friday everyone :) weekend nearly here!!

Wow that's awesome! I thought it took heaps longer than that!

In the uk they've just changed it....6 months worth of prep which we've done so now just the waiting... We're also a mixed race couple so a lot less people an a lot of children so that would make it slightly quicker x

Hopefully you don't have to wait too long then!

So I just got the results for my last 2 blood tests and they were both 2........is it ok that it hasn't gone to 0?

Aimze that is just great news! I'm sure it still seems an ages away bit your soooo close to taking your bubba home! Soooo excited for you.

Jbaby charring cross say below 5 and when I used to call they would say below 2 so I'm sure it's fine.

Xxx

Aimze- Keep us updated on things! I'm so excited for you!!!

Aimze that is wonderful. I hope it happens quickly!

Jbaby, they count under 5 ad negative here in Australia too.... So Massive Congratulations on negative results!

Jbaby - Under 5 is considered negative here too. So huge congrats for a very fast drop. Hope your doctor will clear you soon for TTC!

Aimze - Wonderful news! Adoption is such a loooong process here! People go forwards and backwards for years! Glad the system has changed in the UK! Otherwise it's no good either for parents or children!

Jacky - Yay for a great scan! I love when I see/hear of babies wiggling in the womb! Our girl is so stubborn, she almost always sleeps...

Raff - I could only be nursed for 1.5 months since my mom ran out of milk :( So I think 8 months is great!

M2C - Hope you O'd and you'll get a + on the 4th ;)

Vicki - Glad Alana is doing well!

AFM - At long last a belly shot! I decided to go swimming and got myself a maternity swimsuit as my bikini top made me look like a porn star  I wasn't aware that my boobs got that big!

My OB is a little worried about my weight gain (13 kg so far ~ 28 pounds). He says the baby might be on the bigger side if I continue like this! I'm not too much worried as my GD test was good. But I guess swimming will help with the leg and back pain and also relax me a little. I love being in the water!

So here we go ladies...

Ooh gorgeous bump Ece! Into the 3rd trimester now too! Hopefully your little girl is as good as sleep as she is in the womb on the outside! Xx

Sorry scan pic is coming I promise, I just haven't had time to get onto the computer. Been flat out chasing Marcy around the last few days. She has decided that now she wants to walk everywhere! I did not imagine chasing a little person around would require do much effort! I'm in for a full on next 6 months!

Ece- gorgeous! Makes me feel very broody! Great to be in the 3rd tri too! What date is bubba due?

Becky- looking forward to seeing the scan picture! Haha about Marcy! Its good that she is so active!

Jbaby - yay for negative! 2 is brilliant.

Aimze - thats such great news.

Laura - hope you caght that eggy! Btw loved that film of Indigo with her little pram walker - such a cutie!

Afm, been a busy day, its my sisters 30th next week, so we are having a family meal tomorrow, i am making a cake for her, so been doing that today. Then meal tomorrow, don't know where the days go! Oh and my sister (little one) is also having a baby! She is 37+3 today, but may have to be induced because of some of her blood results. So excited about it - it is a little boy called Alex!

Hope you guys are also having good weekends.

Xx

Hey ladies,
Just been catching up on the news.
Ece - gorgeous bump!!
Aimze - great news! We've been talking about adopting. Not sure what to do.
I've finally got my referral but they still wouldn't do it to my choice of consultant! So he's making the appointment for me now. We had our first night out on Friday, my sister babysat. I Cried when I left him, cried when we were out, hopefully will be easier next time.
I keep being told I have to start putting him upstairs to bed early and use the monitor. He goes up with me at the moment after sleeping downstairs. I just don't think I'm ready. I've waited so long to get him I just want him to be near me and safe.
Xx

Ece- Aw, beautiful bump!!!

BevB- I totally get it! For probably the first 5 months after having Emsley I was a bit over the top crazy about having her near me...I do think it's part of the extra long wait that makes it hard to be apart. It's gotten easier though :)

Bev, it does get easier, but i still check my phone the whole time I am out to make sure everything is ok and Marcy goes to childcare one day a week and my mum's another day while I am at work. I think you did well for the first time especially as he is only 5 months old. I think we put Marcy in her own room at 6 months from memory but it took a month of practice runs of putting her across the hall from us (even with the monitor). I still madly check the monitor. Do it when you are ready xx

I had my first girls night out last night. Me and 3 friends went out for tea and dessert. It was so good and much needed for all of us who have not done anything like it since before we all had our children. It helped to recharge me for another day of a sick child. Hopefully the rash goes soon so we can do fun things again and see her friends.

now as promised (it has taken a week to actually get on the computer so I guess not too bad considering). Still had me a couple of days behind my dates but she is keeping the due date as is. Im 14 weeks tomorrow! yay bring on the second trimester and some energy again!

I just realised. I found you lovely ladies 2 years ago... what a massive 2 years its been. Thank you for all the support during this time through the bad and the good. I never thought that in 2 years I would have been through any of this. Let alone be at this point on my way to rainbow no 2 (i didnt even think I would ever have children).

Thank you all once again!!! Wouldn't have got through it in one piece without all of you xx

Awww that's so nice, hopefully that is me in 2 years time!!
Your ultrasound pic is amazing! Looks like a real little baby in there now :)

Jacky - The scan pic is awesome! Can't believe they really look like tiny humans so early!

Jbaby - I'm sure you'll have your rainbow in your arms in 2 years! I guess none of us could imagine the things we went through!

Lotte - My EDD is May 8th. But I have a feeling she'll be here sooner. Don't know why?! Congrats on your nephew...

Bevb - I totally can relate to you! I don't know how I'll be able to leave her a moment when she's here! I guess we'll get used to it somehow..

AFM - 30 weeks! Can't believe 3/4 is over! I sewed a little dress and a matching headband this week and I believe they may be the cutest things I sewed in my life! Can't wait to meet our LO...

Ece- what a beautiful bump you have! Great news on 30 weeks too! How are you feeling about labour! Eek little dresses!

Lotte how did your sister get on?

Bev great news about your consultant making an appointment! It's always hard leaving your baby but it will get easier. As for putting bubba to bed you do it when your ready. There really not babies for long so make the most of those snuggles!

Becky love love love the scan picture! Rainbow no.2! Just perfect! Do you think there scans look different? I think Corban and indies where very similar. Can't believe it's been 2 years! As much as we met in rubbish circumstances it's been lovely being here for you.

As for me I think (and that's a big think) I'm 8dpo! Feeling kinda lost without opks! I'm swaying towards them next month if a bfn! Not got the feeling I'm preggo this month. I'll let you know how the weekend testing goes!

What have you all planned for the weekend?

Xxx

Jacky b - great scan pic!
Ece - 30 weeks! Wow, that's gone so quickly!!

Things have been hit and miss with the new routine. I fed him extra as advised and was going to put him down, but he threw it up so now I want him with me. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

Saw the consultant yesterday. I have granulation in the wound, stops it from healing. He got rid of it and used silver nitrate to burn and seal. Not pleasant but feeling better today. Going back in 4 weeks. He said there are a few options non including general anaesthetic. So seems quite positive. Had to laugh though, I was told to avoid sex as he would be burnt! Er, that's the last thing on my mind!!
