Rafferty - my period came 27 days after the d&c. the month after was 30 days. then every time after that it was back to 28 days.

Hello, I'm back!

Have been away visiting family for a few days.
I'm just waiting on my test results this week to see whats going on - took another test yesterday and got another barely visible line so not sure. Going by my cycles since my D&C I'm a week late but I know that people cycles can be messed up for a while so just waiting to see what my levels are on Thursday.

Hi everyone - just popping on here quickly as we have just got back from a weekend in wales visiting the in-laws so got a mountain of things to do. I wanted you all to be the first to know but I've just done a digital HPT and it's a positive. I'm shaking as I really didn't think it had happened this month but then I've been really tired and craving stodge all weekend. I'm about 4 1/2 weeks I think! I'm so so happy but also really worried. Any advice from those who are/have been pregnant after a mole as to how to not constantly worry? I want this more than anything obviously but I also know that my age is a factor (38 in a couple of weeks) and what with one very prem birth and then the mole..... It's nearly a year since I got my last positive test (it was 20th April last year) so (fingers crossed) this will be a Christmas baby again!
Well I've just come back to edit this post as I've told my hubby - he's really happy but worried also - more so I think because of my son's prem birth where we spent 5 months in hospital between the two of us which was really hard. The specialists did say there was no reason for it to happen again but still...
Anyway, thanks for reading. Hope you're enjoying the Easster break xx

Rafferty - I had my first d and c on the 5th Sept and my second on the 26th Sept. I had my first af on 10th Jan. This was quite a while after! My hcg at the time was 58.

But since then my cycle has been annoying - although my hcg is still slightly elevated, so Idon't think that helps.

Have you had a negative test after your d and c?
I still have a very very faint line on a test and my last blood hcg was 19. My urine is now under 4. I know you only have urine tests done, so perhaps the urine tests are not picking it up.

I don't really understand though how it can be under 4 when I still get a faint line though - I mean how does the test pick up that small amount?

Do you get your result on thurs? It may be worth asking them about it then.

I know my cycles are still messed up (although my hcg is still slightly elevated) I think they take a while to get back to normal. I spoke to my normal gynae last week and he says that once my hcg is back to less than 5 he will do some baseline checks because I have been having spotting and I'm not wholely convinced I'm ovulating. I am currently on day 32 and I am praying I get af in the next few days!

I haven't told my doctor - I guess cos I don't really think my results are going to show anything and will just be normal. But will get to speak to a nurse when I get my results so if anything is different I can tell her staight away.

Yeah I have only ever done urine tests. I've had 3 negative tests so far (my last 3) all being under 0.35. My doctor had me use pregnancy tests in Jan/beginning of Feb and by the end of Jan I was getting definate negatives which is why I noticed this super faint line - too much time staring at tests!

I think I will be asking a lot of questions when I get my results!

Good to hear your doctors going to do those tests for you and hope AF does show for you soon! I'm on day 41 of this cycle so far

hello ladies. today i had my blood test and my hcg is now -1.20 ...atlast...
tomorrow i will be going to my doctor for this and to know what is next...
before, she told me it will be monthly blood test since i had complete molar...
thanks for this forum that i can cope and stay positive about being pregnant again after the molar pregnancy =)

Just needing to release some stress- kinda took a calculated risk a week and half ago and hubby and i didn't bother trying not to prevent anything and now af is late... even for my irregular cycles. I had a scan a week before for my specialist's tests and showed I had just ovulated so figured it wouldn't be a problem a week later because the time had past... only problem now is that I don't feel the best (I get sick straight away) and are really tired. Really hope i am just getting the flu or something. aaah my specialist specifically said not to come back pregnant for the next appointment at the end of april... so stupid to add this stress on top of everything else. Fingers crossed its just a false alarm. So stupid! And just when I had got 2 negatives in a row and on monthlys.... aaah

I know how your feeling hun, OH and I had drunken unprotcected sex right when I would have been ovulating and now I'm a week late! I haven't braved telling the nurse at Sheffield yet but I'm waiting on my results tomorrow. I felt just the same as I've just had 3 negatives in a row and have now had weeks of majotr stess!

The only thing I can say is try not to worry and stress I know its hard but try and do things that take you mind off it. Have you taken a pregnancy test yet?

Hello everyone - just popping on here quickly with a quick query. I went to the doctors yesterday and she said she would refer me for an early scan but I've just had a phone call to say that I don't meet 'the criteria' for an early scan??!! They have got me booked in for a blood test now tomorrow morning but I'm really surprised that having had a molar last year I'm not going to be given one. Is this just a county thing? (Lincolnshire). Will blood HCG tests definitely be a good indication of whether things are ok or not? I couldn't bear getting to 12 weeks again only to get bad news. Ho hum.......

My crazy Dr. (in the States) sent me for a super early scan and I wish I wouldn't have gone it just made things more stressful for me. HCG can be a good indicator that things are progressing but since levels can vary person to person I don't think they are the best way to confirm everything is fine, just that levels are rising @ xx rate...

Thanks Tina - I did say initially I didn't want one too early but rather at 8 weeks or so as i know that too early they won't neccessarily see anything and could think it's a blighted ovum. I think I need to use mind over matter and just say to myself that until and if there's something to worry about to assume that all is good. Easier said than done but hey ho!! Anyway, it's my daughetr Ava's 5th birthday today so off out to have fun today!!!
