Mum of 4 needs advice please x

My youngest child is 9 month old. I breast feed so was told the mini pill was the best contraception to use. I've been taking same time everyday without fail. I've had periods quite regular. Even been using a period tracker app to help me keep an eye on them. Right now I'm 17 days late. I've had early pregnancy symptoms (tiredness, tender breasts, white discharge, headaches) Done 3 tests and all negative. I was advised by a friend to stop taking my pill in case I am pregnant but the day after I stopped I had some slight pink spotting and then the next day some very mild bleeding. Could this be because I stopped the pill and could I be pregnant? All my other children were planned so I knew a missed period meant a baby but now I'm not sure what is going on. Hope someone can help me x

Not too sure Hun but the mini pill isn't very affective, it 90% covers u from pregnancy if your baby is less than 6 months and exclusively breast fed every 3 hours or less and no solids
