My " after baby do list" post yours! :D

I'm loving the read of these, keep it going! :D

not contemplate how important something on the floor is before attempting to pick it up

:haha: I so know what you mean! funny what you find you debate over when you can't bend, lol :D

 That's awesome and SOOO true! I've been building (and using!) my "toe grabbing-n-tossing" skills.. even if I toe grab a t-shirt and toss it onto the table, it's higher than where it was a second ago and means no squishing the baby.. :haha: It WILL be wonderful to be able to just reach down and scoop it all up, without a thought in the world...!

1- Rest! - OH is off for 3 weeks :D
2- Get into a nice routine with OH with peanut
3- Start eating less junk etc... to loose weight!

great lists!

I will so miss my bump, but I can't wait to
1. Eat lots & lots of pate and feta
2. Sit in a chair or in bed comfortably
3. Go for a long walk (SPD has really limited me, I can't walk the length of my house without a break!)
4. Not pee all night long
5. Put my own socks on - I literally cannot do this anymore!

But most of all I can't wait to meet and get to know my baby, and probably spend hours and hours staring at him or her.
I'm not fussed about the weight, I know I've gained quite a bit but to be honest I think I'll have better things to do than worry about dieting.

4. Be able to roll over in the night without it being a 14 step process

  I am so glad to see it's just not me that has to do that!

isnt it so true!? between the belly, the maternity pillow, and all the various aches and pains...i think it takes an average of 3-4 minutes to move from sleeping on one side to the other ;)

Haha, for sure! I have a V pillow behind my head and neck, the body pillow down one side and another pillow down the other side! Plus, if I turn over too quick, I get that shooting/stretching pain that hurts!!!

I'm only 27 weeks as well... I have a few more weeks of the 14 step process to go through! :dohh: :haha:

oooh...i HATE the shooting/stretching pain through the belly! its always enough to startle me pretty much awake. then its always fun to try to fall back asleep! :-/

about 27 weeks was when my DH threatened to buy a twin bed for the spare room and kick me out! ;) finally, and reluctantly, he came to terms with my pregnancy sleeping process though :haha:

Yeh, that pain really hurts, I've only had it a few times and it makes me ache all day :(

Haha! I woke up one night to find my hubby cuddling my body pillow! I asked him if he had a comfortable sleep snuggled up to my pregnancy pillow and his answer was that there wasn't a lot of choice when you sleep in our bed!!! :dohh: :haha:

1 - buy some lovely gender specific clothes for LO this not knowing is starting to annoy me a teeeny bit now hehe
2 - eat pate on toast ... i've banned my dad from eating it too because if i know its there i want it (i've actually cried once because i couldn't have it and i really wanted it  )
3 - have a nice glass of wine at christmas
4 - go and see my mum and my sister for a few weeks so that i can have a couple of nights off and i can sleep hehe
5 - not have to wake up to pee 8 times a night!!!!
6 - finish college and get into university (i'm going to defer for a year to spend time with LO first though)

hehe! i love that the husbands complain about the pregnancy sleeping, but ultimately they end up loving the preggo pillow! i went out of town for a week and didnt take the pillow, and i when i came back i had to pretty much fight DH for it! he has staked his claim on it and found it to be a pretty comfy snuggle ;) silly boys! :haha:

It is pretty funny hehe, but they do say the best things come to those who wait hehe !

im thinking of the fact that i'm not going to need to give anything up for lent this year, i've done 40 weeks of giving up the stuff I love, 40 days is way too easy to manage and i feel like i've "served my time" on the 'i can't eat that' front :haha:
