My First IVF cycle, Trigger shot or BFP?Fridays HCG blood results pg.21

Hi girls,

I did my 10,000 HCG trigger shot on midnight on Monday 11/19/2012, so it has been 10 days since my trigger shot. My 3 embryos are 5 day embryos and were transfered on Monday 11/26/2012 early in the morning so question, do you girls think this is the trigger shot still or a BFP?? I am not sure what to think...

am sorry hunnie the only way your gunna be able too tell if its the trigger is too keep testing and see if it gets darker hunniexxx

Okay Thanks, sounds like a plan ... next test will be tomorrow morning with FMU!!! Wish me luck!!

Thanks for the good luck wishes!! Yeah, I am in the states and I am in my early 30's, the DR gave me a 40% success rate with the standard 2 embryos so I decided to put back 3 embryos to increase my chances of success. I also had to pay for my IVf cycle myself. I have heard other girls in the UK talk about the restrictions in the UK also.

I agree with Bettybee1 all you can do is test each day and see how they progress it took 7-8 days for me to get my trigger out of my system and it was 6500 so depending on your metabolism it could well be out by now.....good luck honey xxx

Honestly it's too early. I wouldn't trust a hpt until at least 5dp5dt with the trigger shot. Give it a few more days. Your early yet

Thanks hun, 5 days past 5DT would be this Saturday for me and I was going to wait until then to test but then I was curious if the trigger was showing still, but after 10 days after trigger I thought my HPT's would be BFN, so I was surprised when they had lines, and than I realized i snared myself into testing every day because now I need to know if this is trigger or the real deal... LOL... Plus the POASA in me was dying to test!!! LOL.. i am a bad girl!!

I just thought it would be neat to share a picture of the three of my 5 day old embryos that got transfered...My DR said that they are all of excellent quality, so I am hopeful that this is going to work this cycle!!

From what I've seen from other ladies...the trigger is "usually" almost gone by about 8-9 dpt but I guess it all depends on the person. So I would say, this is a good chance that its a baby I have everything crossed for you!!!
