My little boys crib came in today :)

My mom bought us his crib and glider as an early babyshower gift, and it came in today. Hubby put the glider and crib up in about 2 hours. I'm so in love, and it makes it so much more real!
Right now we switched out the queen bed from the room and put the full size in there. My husband for some reason thinks it needs to be in there just incase one of us need to be with him one night if he's sick. I'm not so sure about it cause he will be in our room till 6 months so I don't think we will ever use the bed
Feel free to share your nursery pictures, I need some more ideas to do in there. I have his name letters to put on the wall, they just are not up yet.

Lovely crib and glider Mine are all still in boxes or else I'd share photos! Project nursery starts this weekend with painting the walls... it really does make it feel so much more real when the nursery gets under way I'm not having any sort of bed in there personally, she's gonna be in a bassinet in my bedroom until I'm comfortable moving her into her own room, I'm sure if I really feel the need to sleep in her room, I'll either sleep on the floor or in the glider xx

thats gorgeous, i cant wait to start putting our babies room together, we gotta do the extension first in the games room to split it into 2 rooms as were only in a 3 bedroom house and there are 3 kids and 4th on the way.

but yours is absolutely gorgeous, oh and the glider looks sooo comfy too, we went for a tany/beige leather look one, theyre absolutely great ill post a pic of my sleigh bedroom suite, although its white which isnt shown on the pic but gives you th idea =)

Ha ha I had mine for about 5 minutes in the box and just had to put them together! I can't wait till after my baby shower sunday and get the room all done
I wasnt sure if we would ever use it since he will be sleeping in the bassinet next to me in my room, but I guess it might come in handy one day. Plus we have no where else to stick it. ha ha the other spare room already has a bed in it

Beautiful crib, and so jealouse of that glider chair! lol That looks amazingly comfy. So far I love the glider I got, needs a bit of breaking into just like all furniture, but it rocks very smoothly, and I think daddy might have the night time rocks, he wants to live in it

Lol it's funny you say that actually cox I can't seem to get mine out of the glider! As soon as I brought it home he out it straight in the loungeroom and won't get out of it, he thinks it's the best thing ever made lol, he even got excited when the footstool rocked with him

Yep thats exactly how it went with him! Lol he kept going on and one about how little man could be in this or that position when he gets home at night and both rock each other to sleep lol he's so adorable!

Gliders are perfect for night feeds, if you didnt wana wake your OH (he hasworkk the next morning?!) you can jus take you n baby in there and feed him n settle him back. Also when your doin the transition from yours to babys room its great to spend quite abit of time in there, get him used to it, you'll find yourself never out of it hehe. Love it tho, wish i had space for one
