DH and I already had a 2 year old rescue, but after 2 miscarriages in 3 months, I convinced DH to adopt doggie #2. We've been thinking about it for a while, and seriously, I needed something else to focus my attention on.
So meet Carey (named after drummer, Danny Carey). Our first dog is Bruford, (after drummer, Bill Bruford). They get along great.
Carey is 7 months now (we adopted her 3 weeks ago). She comes from Georgia, and is said to be a Lab/Hound mix, but we just sent away her Doggie DNA kit, so we'll see about that.
She's so sweet, friendly to everyone and everything (unlike Bruford, who hates strangers). She's actually helping with his anxiety.
Her biggest problem is chewing, but she's a puppy, so we're working on that!
Anybody want to take a guess on her breeds?
