I really need some advice. I have no clue what to do about my nails for the wedding which is only a week away. I thought they would be passable with a manicure but for some reason during the past week they have all broken and look awful. Some are really really short now.

Has anyone had gels done? Do they look good? My OH doesn't really like false nails so need something that doesn't look too un-natural. Help please!!

You can have many things done, you can ask for a french still but have them stick some tips on, they can look quite natural, or gels which are more natural looking than acrylic (and they are better for your nails too).

Gel overlays or biosculpture nails can look v natural and dont ruin your nails like acrylics x

i had a gel overlay with a permanent french tip and they looked lovely

Hi there...i am a lecturer in beauty therapy...i would recommend tips with silk or fibreglass wraps...they are very natural...as they are not as thick as gel or acrylic so your hubby to be would like them.
Hope this helps..if you need anymore advice on anything beauty related please pm me i would be happy to help.
Good luck on your wedding day.
Love Twinkle xxxx

I agree with tinkle. I am a qualified nail tech and I would definately recommend fibreglass for a more natural look  Although I must admit not many people around here offer that option! xx

Thankyou all. Where would be best for me to get it done? There is a mobile nail lady who someone has recommended or do I go to a salon? So confused.

Thankyou everyone. Got them done today and I am really pleased with them. Feels a bit odd to type but so glad I did it. :)

Gel Nails arnt very good babe, i would go for Acrylic Tips the look really nice and the last ones i had done lasted me over a month! you can get it done for about £30 without an appointment. xxx

She wanted natural looking nails. Acrylic aren't very natural looking. They are cheap but not natural looking xx
