Where is the best/cheapest place to get one from?
I got my last one from john lewis but they had free delivery at the time so it as cheap!!

mothercare sells pails, thats where mine came from but i need a bigger one :dohh: tho any bucket with a lid will work :) doesnt have to be a 'nappy' bucket :)

yer i thought that, i might pop into the diy shop near me and see what i can find, failing that ill try boots and baby shops x

thats a good idea, thats probably going to be much cheaper as well! thanks

mothercare ones are 16 quid. Finding a 'normal' bucket with a lid is really hard!

lol I just use the angel care nappy bin I have that I got free after my first, I never used it for sposies but now I stick all the reusables in it. It keeps smells at bay well and holds enough nappies to only wash every 2 days

found online... doesn't say how big though and as it's so cheep maybe it's v small?

https://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?storeId=10052&catalogId=11051&langId=-1&pageSize=12&beginIndex=0&sType=SimpleSearch&resultCatEntryType=2&searchTerm=nappy+pail

The reviews dont look too good for it...

"As the other person said - this is a tiny nappy pail and arrived with no lid, whereas it looks like it has a lid in the picture. I'm keeping mine for storing a few dry reusable nappies but will now have to buy a spare, larger, lidded one for storing nappies for washing."

"This bucket is tiny & will probably only fit 4/5 nappies in at most. The website doesn't state how many litres it is & it's impossible to tell from the picture. I will be taking mine back for a refund."

Have you tried ebay? I've got the Smart Nappy one from Mothercare, it's a 10L one but its not really big enough for washing every 3 days, the next one I get will be much bigger, I'm going to have a look round town for one next time I'm out. HTH x

Ah that sounds like a no go then. I've looked all over and just can't find any buckets with a lid - they all are lidless with spouts.
I found this one on the net a week back but thought it was a bit of a hassle ordering such a large item online but it's the best I've found! It's a 16L one too so should be brilliant. Comes to £10.94 with P&P but that's still quite reasonable I guess.
