Naughties by Nature

i know im a bugger arent i.

mum and dad are coming over on sat though and finishing decking out my cat pens so they will be getting evicted then and only have a few in the house at a time so should cut down on the amount of cleaning needed in the house, and the pens are easy to clean.

Hi Ladies

Well after a bit of a rough patch I'm feeling much happier about life in general now, think it must have been a late case of baby blues as over the last week I've been feeling much more positive about everything :) And we have decided to continue trying for a baby so I've just ordered a new stock of ovulation and pregnancy tests from ebay  - currently on CD6 so only a week or so to go before operation :spermy: begins

Zara is doing well, she is becoming easier and easier every day now and only ever cries when she is tired. It suddenly seems to have all clicked in to place and I now feel like a competent mother :) I think we are also starting teething as she is constantly chewing on her hand and trying to chew on mine and that bottom gum seems like it has teeth very close to the surface. I've had the amber necklace on for the last few days and she seems happier with it on so hopefully it won't be too much of a traumatic journey.

So far had her ultrasound scan date confirmed for 6th May and her kidney scan for 26th May so we have a while to wait for any more news on the UTI front but she seems really happy at the moment so I'm not too worried about it :)

Good to hear you sounding so positive about things again Blondie. :hugs:
Good luck with Operation :spermy: !!

I'm at home with a sick girl today. :( Apparently inside her neck (that's throat to you and I) feels a bit 'dandeliony'. I'm not sure what that means, but am enjoying the cuddles that come along with it! We're just going to take it a bit easy this morning, and see how's she's doing.

5 More sleeps till Stinky!!! :happydance:y

so glad things have settled down now blondie and you and zara are happier.

freyasmum if you find out what dandeliony means id be interested to know. lol
cant wait to see stinky

Good luck for tom freyas mum, hope stinky arrives safely.

well i got the puppy will post pics later but im having fun here watching callum bouncing in his jumperoo and the puppy sat beside it watching him, think she wants a go.

had to take callum to the docs yest cos he has an eye infection so i have a cream to put in and its a nightmare, it doesnt come out of the tube very well and he fights me putting it in, i feel horrible doing it but after 2 doses his eye now seams fine but i guess i should keep going for a few more days to make sure.

wow freyasmum thats come around fast!!!

oops sorry for some reason i thought it was the 11th today not the 9th :dohh:
well good luck for mon.

Who's waiting for Monday??

Ollie's here!! He's so gorgeous! And (so far anyway) SO GOOD!! He's hardly cried, and has slept heaps! What more can you ask for?

So. Here's what happened. I was sitting at home on Friday, writing a post about how scared I was to go into labour. Had these dull, cramp pains, but wasn't too worried about it as I figured Stinky was just heading back downwards a bit.
I got up to go to the loo, and my waters broke! OMG! I just freaked out a little.

Called my mw, who said I should wait a couple of hours and call her back with progress. This was about 1.45pm. By 2pm I was getting reasonably uncomfortable contractions, about 2 minutes apart. In between contractions I was packing my bag, and a bag for Freya so she could go stay with my sister, and texting Matt to see how far away he was. By about 3pm I had to admit that the contractions were actually painful - not just uncomfortable - so called mw again and arranged to meet her at the hospital at 3.30... Matt got home around 3.20, so we quickly got ready and left.

Got to the hospital and got hooked up to a monitor. Mw checked, and I was 4cm dilated! Baby sounded pretty happy. Mw watched a few contractions on the monitor and then contacted theatre. By this time although the contractions were very strong and frequent, I was OK... coz I was sucking on that gas for all I was worth!! (Matt had a few goes in between too )
Headed down to theatre not long after 4, I guess. I was a bit sad (understatement) to say goodbye to my friend the gas, but happy things were moving along nice and quick.
Spoke with the anaesthetist for a bit, finally got my spinal in and then they started work. Ollie was born a few minutes later - bang on 5pm. NOT the giant they had all predicted, but 8lb 1 (3.655kg). Still a reasonable size, but definitely not huge. In fact, Freya was 3.656kg when she was born!

Anyway. He's beautiful. Had a bit of trouble getting him to latch on the first few times, but he's caught on now and we're all systems go.
Freya is absolutely in love with him too.
I've just copied this post from my journal - there's a couple of pics in there too. :)

aww wow freyasmum, congratulations :happydance: can't wait to see some photos xxx

i can't believe the turn around i'm having with Leo. he is so good most of the time now and is sleeping through most night from around 8:30pm until 7 or 8am. i'm getting my life back slowly. i even went on a girls night out on saturday, something i wouldn't even think about even 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Congratulations freyasmum. . . he took us all by surprise (i think he always had other plans to come out before the 11th)
