Hi everyone. New to this board my oh and I have split he is moving out this weekend, I currently work part time evenings, I will have to give this up because of childcare. Work have been great and offered me a couple of weeks doing training in the mornings whilst my youngest is in pre school so that would give me a couple of weeks of 12 1/2 hours plus another 4 1/2 hour other shift that I can still keep.
After the couple of weeks of training I will be down to just the 4 1/2 hour shift. I don't want to give that up because of a future possibility of hours becoming available in the daytime where it will be more practical to find childcare.
I'm not sure how this will work when it comes to benefits or really what and how I apply for benefits as it's been 7 years since I was last on my own can anyone give me an idea of what I need to do? as feeling a bit lost. Thank you in advance

You can either go to citizens advice or job centre who will help you OR get an application form on the tax credits website :)
