Hello all,
My son just turned 5 months old and has received only breastmilk up until now. I am starting to not make enough milk for how much he is eating each day, have tried all sorts of things to make more, and not happening. Also, he went from STTN around 3 months to waking up every 2-3 hours to eat over the past 3 weeks. I would love to just be able to wake up and feed him. But I have to leave for work at 5am and just can't handle that many wake ups. Thinking about trying formula at bedtime feeding to see if it helps him go longer at night. But normally I nurse to sleep at night and i love that experience. Does any one have any suggestions? most advice is to bfeed, then give formula to top off, but I would like to continue our bedtime bonding with nursing. Does anyone think i could give a couple ounces of formula then bfeed after?
