Wow im impressed at so many who dont like it!!! I'm hoping you guys are pronouncing it right. its serenity like the serenity prayer and jewel like a diamond or ruby or even like the singer jewel.Lol. the reasoning i like it was cause my mom passed and she loved the serenity prayer and jewel cause thats my middle name!!

I don't think there's any other way to say the name. I just don't like the way it sounds. But it's not my baby. You name it whatever you want to! Especially if it has a special significance.

well i thank you all for your input. I keep trying to keep my mind open for names but this name keeps coming back. I dont know why..Maybe its just honoring my mther thing cause she passed but i dont like her name.kimberly kay. That just doesnt do it for me.So I tried to come up with a better solution to fit her in somehow!!! oh how im so confused!!

You could always do a variation of one or the other. Like Kimber for your mother or Serena for Serenity.

I think it sounds a bit too much. I like the suggestion of Serena, Serena Jewel doesn't sound as much of a mouthful.

i think if u really like it and it has a special significance to u then u should use that name regardless of whether others like it or not
