Negative test/Positive control (expired test) - but preggo?

Has anyone had an expired pregnancy test that had a positive control but negative test? Only to find out you were really pregnant?

Just curious. I should just buy new tests which I will plan on it. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone!

All tests have a control line so will always have one line on as that is the control line showing that the test has worked
