New month, new cycle! Anyone else around cd1?

Nothing much new for me I think AF is coming... I'm not sure now though... lol... tomorrow my temp will tell all I'm sure :)

OK i need help this month girls NO EARLY TESTING!! Its too annoying.. I'm sick of testing... I've got my OPKs all ready 16 of them to catch that LH surge and then I'm gonna try really really hard to wait for 5 days after AF due if she doesn't come to test... I will need help!!!

Consider yourself supported. I am sure we will all be getting a little stir crazy and will need it too!

Ladies, just checked my tampon (sorry this sounds gross), but the bleeding has stopped... There was only a little bit of brown blood on it... So I spotted once on Sunday, bled enough for one light tampon yesterday and now it's gone???

Update: Just POAS... BFN. I'm confused. Ughh.

hmm.. How long are your periods normally? I guess all you can do is check later today and see what happens. Are any of your symptoms hanging around?

Dunno chicken little... get that monitor cranking....

I quit birth control in November and so I was put on Provera to jumpstart my cycles again. Last month it was 5 days...So I don't know. I guess I'll just keep an eye out. Maybe it's taking a break right now or maybe I'm broken! lol Being a woman is such a pain!

As for symptoms, my lower back is still aching...That's about it.

You are not broken! It might just be your cycle trying to figure our what it is supposed to do.. I think you are just going to have to wait this one out.. See what happens.

Hi Laides :hi: I can't officially join yet as I'm still waiting for AF to show (well hopefully it stays away) but just wanted to come and show my support for your new cycle.

Chicken Little be gentle on hubby this month, even I felt sorry for him at one stage :haha:

I'm rooting for ya'll :hugs:

I called my dr's office again and spoke to his nurse. She said he must've misunderstood what I was saying or that the message was relayed to him incorrectly because she said there's definitely a problem. Just like I had read online, she said that if the OPKs stay positive that long, it's either because you're pregnant or because your body keeps trying to release an egg and just doesn't.

So.............. I have an appt this Thursday with a fertility specialist. She said it's best to just stop playing around and experimenting with medicines and just go get checked out to get to the root of the problem.

Nervous...and I know other ladies here have had to go through this or something worse, but I can't help but feel defective! I also feel now that going on birth control was the worst choice ever! If I would've known these problems would be the end result, I would have never taken them.

stace- let us know how that appt goes. I hope it's nothing serious and just your body getting back to normal.

 Hey everyone! I'm also on cd2! Looks like most of are! Coolio!

Lets catch us some eggies this cycle :spermy: and get our :bfp:s !!!!!
:dust::dust::dust:

Stace, it's exciting that they're going to figure this out for you! Most women only get to go to a fertility specialist after a year(or longer) of TTC only to find the problem was so small and they could have avoided so much stress if they had only had the proper treatment.

Good Luck for Thursday I'm holding thumbs for you :hugs:

Welcome Amber! :dust: for you too.

Stace, I agree with Jolene. It is great that your drs are being so proactive. It too am wishing you the best of luck.

Hey girls.. I have a lot of non pregnancy stuff going on in my life right now and today is turning out to be a very difficult day. I guess I am asking for some warm thoughts a prayers for my family...

Juniper- Sending loads of warmth and prayers to you and your family :hugs: as well as :dust: (as always!)

Stace that is excellent about the specialist... they will get to the bottom of it chicken (little). I'll be praying to St Anne for us xo

Juniper xoxox big hugs to you for all the non preg related things happening in your life.

Joelene let us know when you get that BFP it is surely on the way.

I'm HEAVY AF today yuk. Hurry up and go away so i can get back to that BDing hehehe...

Are any of you girls using OPKs this cycle? If so, when do you plan on starting?

This will be my first cycle using them and since my cycles are usually over 35 days I'm going to start on cd 8 I think.

...

Hi Amber

Yep I'll be using OPKs and my last two cycles have been 33 days so i can expect to O on about cycle day 19 (only 17 days away yay!).

I'll start testing for LH surge around day 12 of my cycle.

Thanks Amber and Kat...

I too am going to be using opks this month. My cycle changed last month, so I think I am going to start testing around day 10 just to make sure that I get covered.

So long as we don't get 9 consecutive positive like our friend chicken little it will be ok :)

Agreed. I do believe the that Chicken Little will be ok too... She better be! It's our month remember :p

Awww, thanks for all the support, ladies!! It really cheered me up to read all of this. I've kind of just been sulking all day and wondering what will happen on Thursday and if we'll find out that day what's going on. I took their earliest appointment possible (despite AF is here it's SUPER SUPER light, so I hope it's not an issue) in hopes that I can still TTC this month! I'm thankful the nurse skipped right over trying Clomid because I really don't feel like waiting much longer. (Even though I know ladies have waited longer.) I just had this whole life plan as far as children were concerned and I'll be over 30 now when I have my first. But I will learn to accept that. Things happen when they're meant to be, right?

I wish all you ladies the best this month! BIG :hugs: and :dust:! And Jolene, start us off right with a BFP. The more motivation, the better! :)

<3,
CHICKEN little ;)
