how does the chat room work do you have to have contacts first im confused

You have to have so many posts I think before you can go in to the chatroom x x x

You can enter the chatroom by clicking on the "chatroom" in the blue bar near the top of the page. Sometimes there is no one in there but other times it gets quite busy.
