New year.........new bfp's please "2011"

:hi: Hi Newmummy, nice to 'see' you here, do pop back every now and again, I would love to keep up with whats happening. I assume all was ok with your 12 week scan which is great news

ERPC was 23rd Aug so been trying for about 5 months but AF was a no show for 3 months and then its been on/off until this month which appears to be normal :happydance: finally!

Yes all was fab with scan i will put it on my profile so you can check it out next scan is 23rd march :happydance:

5 mths is'nt all that long my love :hugs:im sure your time will come soon we were trying for 6mths then bfp which was to be my MC and then another 3 mths so 9 altogether keep up the pma  im sure its just around the corner....yep i can see it NTAT's BFP here it comes:thumbup::happydance:

I know 5 months isn't that long but that's since the M/C - we'd been trying for a year before I got my BFP so its 18 months in total :dohh:
Seems a long time, especially considering my age, I'm 36 at the end of the month. Baby was due a week after my b'day so not looking forward to birthday or due date

Seem to be O'ing very early now, last month got peak on days 10/11 and this month, think its going to go to peak tomorrow which is only going to be day 9 - concerned its too early - and as my LP is only 12 days, my cycle is only just over 3 weeks long!

Hmmm NTAT, have you talked to your gyn about this yet? You might need to get your hormones checked out. Also, extra B6 (one tablet in the evening on top of your prenatals) will help elongate your cycle if you're a bit low.

Thanks Tiger, I've been thinking about the extra B6, will see how this cycle goes. CBFM didn't go to peak as I expected, is still high today (day 11) but am starting to feel a few familiar twinges so I think O is on the way now, which is normal for me (cd12/13)
Had my hormones checked a couple of months ago and all fine thankfully - think I'm still getting back to normal.

How you doing? :hugs:

I'm doing alright, actually had a scan last Friday and saw the heartbeat but I did the last time too so it's difficult to get really excited. They want me back this Friday and I'll go but man oh man are the bills racking up already! I'll have to pass if they say they want me to come in a third consecutive time.

Good luck the next couple of days in catching that eggie!!!!

Congrats on the HB Tiger, but I understand that you do not want to get excited just yet, sending you lots of :dust: and PMA!

Sorry you are feeling the financial strain - we take it for granted in the UK about the NHS, it must be so hard knowing you have to pay every time just to get peace of mind.

Good luck for your next scan - keep us informed. I really hope this is your forever baby :hugs:

Great news re the hb tiger :happydance:. How many weeks are you now x

GL catching the egg this month new xxx

afm, anomoly scan next Wednesday, looking forward to seeing the little man again :cloud9:

Today I'm 7wks 2days.

Good luck on your scan next week Kanga! It is nice to see the baby isn't it!

Definitely, I always panic about the hb though, but once I know that's there I can relax.
Are you going to go back this Friday x

Hi ladies,

Sorry I've been remiss checking in. Congrats newmommy and tiger on your pregnancies! I understand the trepidation. I'm almost half-way through and I'm still a nervous wreck. I've had alot of bleeding in this pregnancy and just learned yesterday that I have a moderate placenta abruption but it actually looks like it's not getting worse and I now have a team of specialists from a children's hospital (one of the best in the country) looking after me alongside my OB. The specialist has given me a good prognosis so the worry is actually starting to subside. Up until now I was just told, "wait and see and there is nothing we can do". So I had no idea what was going on, how serious it was and I knew that I was on my own if something bad happened. Now I have answers and solutions. And all because my baby tested positive for spina bifida which sent me out there in the first place (he doesn't have it!)

ntat, I really hope this your month to catch that sticky bfp! And good luck to you too, Immpearl!

Kanga, I did have another scan done yesterday. The hb went up from 117 to 151 which is good but in 7 days, the baby only grew 3 days. I know they can go through growth spurts so I'm hoping for one by the time I'm go back on the 21st.

Starry, it's been so long! I'm glad things are better for you and baby! That had to be so scary to go through. Have they mentioned anything about the placenta being a problem when it's time to give birth or still too early to say?

:hi: Starry, long time no see! Nice to 'see' a familiar face back in this thread. Sorry you've not had an easy time so far, hope things improve now and you can worry less (I say less as there won't be a time where you won't worry)
I'm bloody well hoping I catch that egg this month, its getting boring now :haha:
Please come back and update us, would love to keep up with you and bump! x

Tiger, keeping everything crossed for you and :baby: :hugs:

Tiger, they haven't mentioned it. DH got a job out of province and the specialist said to continue with our plans to move at the end of April so I'm guessing it won't be a big deal as long as things stay the same. I'll ask him the next time I'm out there in three weeks. I still have to stay at home to rest right now and I'm not allowed to go for any unnecessary drives (if we move we have to fly for my safety). Baby is still growing great so obviously enough of the placenta is functioning for him to get all the nutrients he needs. And he can't hurt it or make it worse by kicking it.

Try not to worry too much about the growth as it's still so early. My baby started out a bit behind but the past few scans it's actually been measuring a few days ahead of my official due date (more in line with when I got my bfp) so they do catch up. And the strong hb is a terrific sign!

Hello girls gosh Starry that's all a bit scary but glad it also seems like not a big problem i hope all goes well for you

NTAT i hope you catch that eggy too you really deserve your turn now lovely

Tiger don't worry my bubs was measuring 3days behind at first scan and then was bang on cause at 12 wk scan so like starry says they do catch up hun .....im sure everything is great in there especially with that strong HB .

I am 2 days late, 14dpo and had BFN this morning on a FRER. What the hell is going on? :dohh:

There was a another girl on a different thread, she kept getting bfn's when she was late then finally I think 4 days late she got her bfp. FX'd this will be your situation too!

Ntat, that is really frustrating! Just keep testing every few days (unless you want to test everyday ;)). Good luck!

AF has arrived - I'm out for another month. Having a few :wine: and  to help me cope. 36 on Monday and a week til due date, feeling quite bereft.
