No BFP on LTTC

I know its to take people's feelings into consideration, but I would really like to see the BFP LTTC on here rather than on a separate place. I think it would give us a little hope.

To hear of LTTC having luck would make me feel better and show that it is still possible.

What do you ladies think???

At the risk of going against the crowd, I think I would stop coming here if that happened - one of the reasons I like this particular forum is because I don't have to be bombarded with BFPs every time I log-in. We have a separate thread for BFP announcements and even a "success" thread where people can go and read lots of inspiring stories if they chose to. The key is choice - having it separate gives people the freedom to read if they want but it doesn't get shoved down their throats. LTTTC is so emotionally difficult, I truly appreciate the consideration that current design shows.

Ok, maybe then a specific place where those who have been LTTc can say their BFP. I followed the link and it didn't really come across as LTTc people who got their BFP.

I do get your point about not being bombarded with BFP. It is a fair point.

I do feel that there is something of a hopelessness about the LTTC threads though. That is maybe the way I feel about it though as none of us have any guarantee of light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm off now to read success stories to give myself a boost that it can still happen.

I agree with you, but I also agree with Spicy. It really is hard to hear about people's BFPs. Even when they have been tring for a long long time and I am certainly happy for them it still tears my heart that it is not me. Also because I have been trying longer than most people on this forum even if they are also called LTTC'ers.

But it is a good idea to ask how people feel about this issue
Hopefully we will both be cheered up by our own success stories soon

There is a success stories thread at the top of the board, isn't there? I think that would be the place for bfp announcements. I certainly wouldn't want to see such announcements on the main board.

I agree with Spicy & Lawgirl. I wouldn't really want to spend any time in this forum (and would probably end up leaving BnB altogether as I'm not enjoying the other forums anymore) if this plan started.

This is currently the only place I don't get constant BFPs and pregnant women and babies shoved in my face.

My vote is with Spicy. Not to sound all negative Nancy, I do enjoy hearing success stories but then again just because it happened for that person doesn't mean it's going to happen for you.

I also get enough of pregnancy announcements on FB. So I like to be able to log onto BNB LTTC and not be overloaded with them.

Me too spicy is right .I don wanna offend any ladies who read this and are pregnant now.But i find it hard when ladies who are now pregnant , still come on these threads posting .I believe its like having it rammed down your throat when your upset.ImNOT saying i dislike them andimNOT happy for them.But im being honest , when your having a bad day and see bfp ladies posting makes me not read their posts.

If i was to get BFP last place id be on is LTTC OR TTC .Id be on the pregnant sections .At end of the day thats why everything is clearly marked...TTC ,LTTC ,BFP ANNOUCEMENTS ,ASSISTED TTC ETC ETC.

I love reading sucsess stories also ,but if i want do that , id go on that section .But thats just me !!
