Not sure where I am suppose to be....

Akirkland: I hope that it is EWCM for you and that the :spermy: does it's job and you'll soon get your :bfp: - just have to get through the TWW...

MummyKP: Looks like we are close together - I'm on CD2 right now but with my AF being so late this time, I'm not sure how long my cycle will be or when O will be - I'm finally temping so hopefully I'll be able to tell when it is/was (I see that with the temps you only really see that you O'd after your temp starts rising again...) Hopefully we'll get enough BD'sing in around the right time - I'm going to keep checking CM as a guide as well.

Sorry if this was TMI! LOL

Good luck and here's to hoping that we all get some :bfp: soon!

We will definitely be finding out the gender, but we won't be having a party or anything, it's more of just an announcement here in the UK.

Eelse I'm also CD2, yesterday was very light but still classed as cd1, today she's here and boy don't I know it!! Excited to get going this month :) I keep telling myself not to be disheartened if AF arrives again in February but I think I will be! DH had mumps a few years ago and although Drs said it's very rare, it can affect their sperm so I'm super worried about it!!

I'm also very excited to get going this month :) I think everyone TTC is disheartened whenever AF shows up - even if they told themselves that they didn't care if it happened or not...

I hope that the mumps did not affect your chances and that this is the month for your :bfp:

Good luck :hugs:

@EElse-Thank you! It's still going on so we will continue daily until it stops and go back to every other day. I don't know when I will actually be in the TWW, possibly on Sunday I will be? I really hope we caught it this month but it's our first NTNP so if it doesn't happen it's ok too.

@MummyKP-I hope the mumps hasn't affected your DH and you're able to get a BFP. I agree with EElse no matter what AF is hard to see even if you're not truly trying. I didn't know you were in the UK, I'm with ya though in wanting to find out the gender. The gender reveal parties seem like so much fun though so I think I'd want to do that.

You both will have to let me know how things go with temping, charting and just this cycle. I hope we all get our BFP's!

Good luck to you both!

Thanks Akirkland!

As for the gender reveal: I think I will want to know the gender, although there are no big reveal parties (not as far I know).

Are any of you hoping for a specific gender? I was once told that I have the personality and disposition to raise girls but I honestly don't care which...

We are three sisters (no brothers) and I just hope that I can one day raise our kid(s) as well as my parents did us.

I love the idea of a gender reveal party, having someone make a cake with the color pink or blue in it or doing balloons and popping them to see what color. It just seems like fun, but I doubt I'd be able to wait until the party to find out what we're having.

I honestly would just love to have a little girl, but if I get a boy I would be just as happy.

I have two brothers and no sisters but I do hope we can raise our kids just as well as my parents did and my husbands parents. Both are amazing!

Both of us would love a little girl amongst our brood but not necessarily first, so we are happy wither way! :)

Gender parties do sound like great fun but they aren't big over here!

I also would love to bring our children up the same way we've both been bought up, I admire my mum for what she has done, & DHs parents too!!

Oodles it sounds like we're on the same cycle! That's so exciting to me! Haha! According the the AF tracker I use I should be in a fertile window between today and Saturday. I have used OPK's in the past and I did temp but I just can't remember to do that stuff daily. I was only trying both of those things because I thought we were ready for a baby and we were not. But now we certainly are and I am so excited to be doing this NTNP/TTC. I don't feel like we're hardcore into it but we're certainly not preventing anything like before though. It's been a lot more fun and just so stress free.

I completely get it, I became absurdly happy to see someone with the same cycle. My OPK tested positive on Friday afternoon/early eve and having never paid attention to my ovulation time before I became super emotional. It felt so surreal and I was in such awe thinking 'wow my body actually knows how to do it'. I can't even begin to imagine how I'll feel when I finally get a BFP. My hubby kept randomly touching me this weekend saying "go spermys go".

I don't think I've ever heard of gender reveal parties before. Are they very common? When we do conceive we want to find out the gender, but I'm hoping we can wait until later in the pregnancy to lessen the chance of getting it wrong.

TWW is starting/has arrived. Good luck and lots of :dust: for everyone!

That's so cute about your hubby! Mine is just like well if it happens it happens but he isn't getting excited about it or anything. I think once a test turns positive it will hit him more that this is real and happening. Where as for me just even the whole trying but not really trying is so real and exciting.

They're getting more and more common around here, my FB page is plagued with tons of gender reveal parties. They seem like so much fun and a good excuse to celebrate. I agree with waiting until later in the pregnancy so it's not wrong, but I don't think I'll have the patience for that either.:haha: I barely have any patience for this TWW.

Good luck ladies!
