not to sure what to do..need help please

right im 7 weeks pregnant been off work for a week, cause of my asthma and dont get sick pay. i really dont want to return to work, as i will be heavy lifting and making loads of beds....(yeah im a room cleaner) and taking loads of linen down....so im thinking about quitting, as i dont think my body can cope with the amount i do...which is alot.
i will also be homeless soon ... as i will be living with my oh, can i claim jsa or income support? i know it can take upto 26 weeks for jsa can be granted as i would of quit.

im so confused.
i dont know if i should ask my docs if i can have a sick note? not cause im pregnant, but my asthma.

Hi, Im a chambermaid to im TTC, when i get pregnant im planning on staying in my job. Ask by law they have to find you lighter duties or sign you off on full pay.

have you told your employer yet hun?

Far as i know you won't be entitled to claim jsa if you leave your current employment & IS is not paid until 29th wk of pregnancy hun. You need to ask them for a risk assessment & lighter duties, They HAVE to do this for you So there is no reason for you to leave xx

i havent told them yet, as i feel its early days. want to see the scan first then tell them. well my manager is on hols for 2 weeks, i just cant cope making 14 beds and cleaning, my breathing is affecting me and midwife says as long as i can breathe baby can, which i feel bad if i have an attack
