Novice question to baby wearing

I have worn my baby for short walks, but thats about it, the plan is to also wear him at home and at work, is there any ruling to how many hours you should only do this for? Or if LO is happy then it doesn't matter?

No rule as far as I know, I wear DS most of the day, and did with our DD too. The only place they were truly happy
