Now on CD 35, still no AF

I am now 3 days late, assuming AF doesn't come today. Yesterday and today I am having some brown spotting, mostly after using the restroom. I often get this before my periods start but I have NEVER had a cycle longer than 32 days. I want to take a test but this spotting is making me think AF is right around the corner and I don't want to waste the money on the test and then be heartbroken when I get a BFN. I don't know why my AF is late, but I know brown spotting can be a sign of period OR pregnancy, so basically I am going insane. Anyone experience this?

My AF was 9 days late this cycle, no idea why!! But no spotting for me so hopefully it means pregnancy for you

Are your cycles usually fairly regular? Mine range anywhere from 28 to 32 days, usually 31 or 32, but I have NEVER gone more than 32 days. But little things can change that I know, so I don't know if I should wait it out, or test. Hmmm...
