occasional severe nausea and vomiting?

I hardly suffer from any nausea in this pregnancy but I had 2 times where I experienced the most severe vomiting and nausea ever in my life.
Today it took me 5 times of throwing up to feel a little better and I feel the nausea creeping up again.
Is that common?

I would say that yes it is as it doesn’t have to be constant to be really bad. But you have to be careful of dehydration, my friend who threw up all the time had frequent IV fluids as she was starting to feel very weak.

Oh dear..tell me about it.. with my first pregnancy, had no morning sickness.. this one is barely there,,but i wake up with nausea everyday..takes about 2-3 hours for it to settle down

all normal, just keep yourself hydrated..

Yes, I was only sick twice with my second and it really came out of nowhere.

Sadly I can't always reply on here because I get stubborn pop ups on my phone :/
But I just wanted to say it changed to all day nausea, just some moments are less bad. I am hoping it won't last long. It certainly is not like normal nausea

I have found chewing mint gum helps a tonne with nausea, just for something to try if you want
