Hi ladies!

It's still such early days, but is there anyone else who has just found out their pregnant and due in October? I got a BFP a couple of days ago on 9dpo and got a digital today on 11dpo. According to FF, I due the 2nd of October. I'm better wary because we'be been trying for nearly two years and have suffered 5 early losses in that time (2 natural and 3 with clomid/FSH/IUI). This time, it feels different to the others. Much earlier tests for starters, but also great symptoms and tons of EWCM around ovulation. I'm hopeful this is it and I'm trying to remain positive.

Anyone else out there due in October? :hugs:

Congrats! I'm the same as you, baby center says Oct 2, I got my BFP 1/18/17 9dpo. It's our fifth, we're surprise, overwhelmed and happy.

Congrats Trying!! That's amazing! I would love a big family, but my husband was all set on two, so the fact that I've got him to go to three is a miracle! I am not-so-secretly hoping for twins so that we end up with four kids, but in the end, I am just hoping for a sticky healthy baby. I will be happy regardless!!

Have you had any symptoms yet?

That would be so cool if you are preggo with twins! It's so fun and yes it helps jump the numbers 😂 I love having twins!

Thinking about it I had the same stabbing pains I got when Tcc my dd Rose at around 7Dpo. I also got tender breast and random nasusea. What about you?

I am 10 DPO currently with lines getting stronger each day I test! I've also been getting nauseas every day at noon and it lasts until 3, so I'm really hoping that means the hormones are going up quickly! This will be our first baby after a year of ttc with 2 CPs. With the CPs I didn't get a positive test until after AF was due and the tests only lasted for a day or two before I started bleeding. I'm due for AF Tuesday and insanely anxious that she will arrive even though I've got 4 BFPs now.

Trying: I spotted you had twins. I'm glad you enjoy having them. I've heard from a few parents of twins about how hard it is (I can totally see why!) but they never say how fun it is. I too have had sore breasts and uterus twinges. No nausea here yet. I wonder if I'll get any. I haven't had a shred of nausea with either of my other two. Very lucky!

TTCequestrian: Welcome and congrats :) I'm sorry for your losses. I really hope this is your rainbow. The nausea is a really great sign. As is having the early tests! With my losses, they all had late tests too. This is my first early test since my pregnancy with my daughter (and at 9dpo too, which is my earliest ever). Hopefully this will mean good things for both of us!

So my period is due to tomorrow and I'm anxiously awaiting the day to come and go. This will feel a lot more real if I have actually missed my period. I have a tender uterus area today, which is totally normal, but does unnerve me a bit! I can't wait to get out of these nerve-wracking early days. How are you guys today?

I know what you mean about it feeling more real once you miss your period- I'm feeling the same exact thing! I just keep staring at the BFPs when I get too anxious about it which does seem to help a bit. I told myself that I would wait until tomorrow to test again but I really don't want to. Ugh this being patient thing is quite difficult 😂

Trying- when you got pregnant with your twins do you remember if you felt pains on both sides during ovulation of that cycle? I know it was a while ago so don't worry if not, I was just curious because usually I only get ovulation pain on one side but this month I got it on both and I've been told that could mean twins!

You're better than me TTCequestrian! I stupidly used a CB digital again with SMU and got 1-2 weeks again. This time, it flashed up pregnant pretty quickly and then took a while to decide the weeks (last time it took the whole time to flash up pregnant and weeks at the same time). I stupidly took it apart to compare lines to the one from 11dpo. The more sensitive line is the same :/ but he less sensitive one is a bit darker. I wish I hadn't taken hat stupid test!!!! I don't know why I torture myself! It makes sense that with lower levels this early that the less sensitive one might not change much when the high sensitivity one did. I can rationalise it, but it was those digitalis that clued me in to the fact that I was miscarrying my 6 week pregnancy. It went up to 2-3 weeks and I took another when it should have been 3, but it stayed at 2-3 and when opened up looked the same as the last one (four days later). It then dropped to 1-2 weeks and then I lost it. It's so torturous! I wish I had he strength to just test once and then leave it be.

I wish I could have just waited to test again, I tested this morning with FMU and got a BFN so now I'm freaking out too. Who ever said TTC was easy was way wrong.

Oh TTCequestrian! I'm so sorry! What a stress! Hopefully it was just a dud test!

I can't remember but I know what you mean I only get twinges on one side and so far one baby, but if both sides? Idk!

Ugh. I think I'm out. My very seeable faint lines have turned to stark white BFNs. Hopefully I will be back next month! Going to try to add some more things to what I'm already taking to up my chances.
Wishing you ladies healthy pregnancies and babies 💕

TTCequestrian I'm so sorry :hugs: I really hope you get a sticky BFP soon! Hopefully it was just dud tests and you're still in with a chance.

Trying: How are you doing?

I've been torturing myself with over-testing, but I think I've had enough now. I got a beautiful line as dark as the control line (and it looks to be going darker the longer I leave it), so I think I need to step away and call the recurrent miscarriage clinic tomorrow to arrange to see the doctor that is treating me. He said I would need to go on heparin when I was pregnant and I'd love for them to do betas. I just need to tell them what a crazy testing lady I've become and hopefully they'll listen!

Any other October mums out there? I've never been due at the very start of a month before. Feels weird not to have lots of others :D

Trying: How's things going?

I'm ill with a terrible cold! I can't tell whether my food aversions or exhaustion are pregnancy based or just the cold taking its toll. Blurgh! I have a lesson observation Thursday, so can't be off work, but having said that, I don't know how I can teach well like this. Hope it soon passes! I've got a scan booked for two weeks time as I've been attending the recurrent miscarriage clinic. I'm feeling excited about it. Come on next two weeks, fly!

Congrats everyone!
I'm sorry ttc, that sucks. I remember my loss before Thomas and it just ruined me for a long time. Big hugs

I have no idea what DPO I am, since we were definitely NOT ttc'ing. When I tested positive I was anywhere between 9-13 DPO. But since it was such a dark positive (as dark as the control already), I went with 13 DPO for my ticker. So my due date should be October 1st.

So am tentatively joining this thread, since I'm not actually sure when I ovulated and all that. My cycles are also anywhere between 21-24 days so that's also no help.
