October 2018 Bumpkins!

My UTI is finally starting to clear up - after a week of terrible pain whenever I peed (should I mention also that I have been peeing about 400 times a day?), finally I have some relief. Doctors here are really not keen to prescribe antibiotics in most cases, and for sure not during pregnancy (chance to make baby resistant). So I had to suffer through quite a lot for something that I know could have been fixed within 2 days.

Anyway... The medical system in EU often leaves me perplexed so just needed to vent a bit.

That sucks you had to suffer through , i pee about 5 6 times an hour its crazy :haha:

I haven’t been on here in a while! I hope everyone is doing well. Good luck at your scan Blah and Blo that’s good news you’re feeling better.

This may have been discussed before but is anyone having the harmony test? I just had a doctors appointment and my doc asked if I’d like it done. She’s given me the forms and it it’s a big cost ($490aud) I’m on the fence whether I should or not.

My little peanut. Everything looks good.

Congrats star! My scan has been cancelled as snow is bad here, we have a met office red warning in place. Disappointed but rearranged for Saturday.

Im sorry that you have to wait longer now blah. Will stalk for your pic.

Awesome star :happydance:
That sucks blah weather can really hamper things hopefully it clears up soon so you get to see your little one

As for me my ms went away for a few days but came back in full force yesterday so bad it kept me up alot of the night :nope: and on top of that my nipples are killing me now breast are fine and linea nigra is already present from my belly button down  2 more weeks till my scan time is flying so happy
How is everyone else holding up ?

Thanks I also missed my booking in today so will need to rearrange that also, not so good! The weather is absolutely awful here such deep snow, and still blizzards although we have now just an amber and not a red alert so fingers crossed. The roads can’t be driven on and all public transport cancelled so it’s a bit of a nightmare. Schools have been closed since Wednesday and will be closed tomorrow also.

Hi all. Congrats on the scans! Im 7+3 today. Yesterday was worse but today and yesterday ive had this like heaviness and pressure in my uterus area. Makes me paranoid. Also i havent felt the dizziness that i have been feeling. Hoping everything is ok. Lost too many already. I have a scan booked for a week from today but that seems really far away. Im trying to relax and tell myself that i had a great scan a week ago and to relax and be positive, it so hard!

I have good & bad news. The good: baby is measuring exactly by my o date. 7w 4d. HR is a strong 158. Baby looks perfect.
Bad news: I have a moderate subchorionic hemorrhage. It's huge. It goes pretty far around the gestational sac. MW is concerned. She basically said it's "a coin toss" if I'll loose this baby. She also went on to tell me I had reason for concern because my eggs are 41 years old... Basically a huge ray of sunshine. Anyway they don't do anything. It's just watch & wait. I have had no bleeding at all. I go back in 3 weeks for my physical exam & cell free dna testing. They will check for a heart beat with doppler then. :nope: Nothing I can do . I have googled a lot today. I'll increase my water intake (not easy feeling so nauseous) and I'll put myself on a modified bed rest. She told me normal activities, but I don't think it can hurt.

So, what should be exciting is now very worrisome.

Congrats on seeing a heartbeat but worrying news also. Fingers ccrossed it will just reabsorb, sounds good that you’ve had no bleeding at all though?

We met our little gummy bear today! Everything was perfect, heart beating away nice and strong and seen them move their little legs. Measuring 9 weeks but she said could quite easily change to -/+ 4 days at my 12 week scan which is in 17 days.

No bleeding or pain at all. Im taking that as a good sign. Trying to be positive. If my baby can grow and thrive despite this I can still stay optimistic.

Why a great scan pic Blah11! SO cute already! It will be amazing to see the difference at your next scan.

Hi ladies
Can I join? 10 days late for :af: and 7 negatives later I got my :bfp: today!! :happydance:

EDD according to LMP is 31st Oct.... however I think I may have implanted late (after all those negatives!!!) so may be a fleeting visit as I have no doubt I'll get put back a few weeks and bump into a November due date when I get a scan.

I feel like I'm totally out of the loop in knowing what to actually DO when finding out you're pregnant :haha:
It feels like sooo long ago having my son...

Blah11 so exciting great scan pic :happydance:
