October 2018 Bumpkins!

Aw, it's really nice that they're excited :) I guess it's like starting all over again for you - so exciting!! I can see myself being one of those people that aren't ever really done :haha: And end up going on to have another one when mine are older too!

I'm doing fairly well. Dealing with afternoon/night nausea and I'm worthless after 4, but I'm chugging on.

I'd say the bigger gap has pros and cons but for the most part it works out! So here's what my age gaps will be when this new one is born

Ds1 15, ds2 13, dd 11 almost 12, ds3 8, ds4 3, newborn

So my oldest two are 2 1/2 years apart then ds2 and dd are only 15 months apart dd and ds3 are 3 1/2 years apart then ds3 and ds4 are 4 1/2 years apart

Honestly the ones that are close in age aren't actually that close but they all love having their "babies" to take care of! These easiest gap? Dd and ds3 3 1/2 years apart the worst? Ds2 and dd 15 months apart that was way too hard! I will have a 15 1/2 year age gap between oldest and youngest gah that is crazy! They're all excited and my boys and DH ALWAYS root for a boy but everyone is look the girl train this time so its so fun!! I am deff sicker more tired more acne just different this time it could be that I am way older but I'm secretly hoping it means its a girl!!!

Wow katiedw! You have a full house! I love that. We have an Austin too :)

Boy oh boy do we haha my house is NEVER quiet but hopefully they will all be good caring respectful loving unselfish adults because they have to be now!!

Awe I love that you have an Austin, I honestly have only known 1 besides my son, I was 17 when I had him and everyone thought it was such an old fashion weird name! But I loved it and it fits him so well he's an old sole nothing like other kids his age!

So I had another ultrasound yesterday. Baby was measuring great and hb was 172 but the told me i have a subchorionic hematoma. Aparently i had it last scan and they didnt tell me! Im mad! Now they said pelvic rest because it got bigger. So now im worried! LuvallmyH how big was yours? Anyone else have any experience? I think mine is fairly large is was 3.4x2.5x1.3 mean of 2.4.

Do any of you ladies have a strong feeling of gender yet ? I am about 99.99% positive this is a boy or two will know next week if single or not based on my symptoms cravings and gut instinct

Ah people weren't fussed when we named him Austin either! I got told by my hair dresser - "oh dont worry you have plenty of time to change it!" I was mortified! Thankfully people are used to it now and never get any odd remarks. The plus side is ive never met another Austin :)

I reeeeally feel like this is a girl. Im almost certain. I can't even really explain why which is odd! I just have a feeling. Hubby thinks boy though and hes always been right... ill probably turn out wrong :haha:

I will be shocked if we have a girl as I’m certain he’s a boy! We are going to have a private scan and find out at 16 weeks so not long now really.

My boobs the last few days have felt really big and hard?! I don’t remember this from my other pregnancies and also despite eating my weight in tangy wine gums and coke, I’ve lost a couple lbs making me pre pregnancy weight again. Hope it stays like that haha x

Pretty sure it is a boy. No idea why, most of my symptoms point to girl... But I just have a feeling that its a boy :haha:
Might be just because its what I prefer, but hoping my feeling is right!

They did not give me measurements. They just said it was moderate in size & it was a “coin toss” whether I’d lose baby or not. They have no follow up planned or restrictions. I do have my nt scan April 5. I put myself on pelvic rest & have increased my water intake because that’s what I’ve read is the most I can do. I wish I had more info, but they didn’t give me any. I’ve googled a lot. There are a lot of positive stories.

Urrggh wish the nausea would go away now! Was actually sick again this morning but its really getting me down feeling constantly so poorly :(

On the subject of gender I think its a girly one this time - I was right with DS so will have to see with this one - going to get a private scan at 16 weeks so will hopefully find out then!

LuvallmyH I have I really think we have a better chance than a coin toss! Somethings i reac said that there is no higher risk for m/c. And some said like 20% but most daid like 1-7% chance and we arent bleeding which is another really positive thing. Do you have a doppler? Im love listening to that hb! Its so reassuring and they arent that expensive!

I tried my doppler Saturday. I got the hb right away! I am so surprised because I didn't think it was easy to get it this early. I've only tried once, so maybe next time it won't be. I also think our chances are better than 50/50. I have read that most sch resolve themselves. I'm not impressed with the way my mw handled it all. Little information or encouragement. I am encouraged that we have had no bleeding. Also I have pretty awful morning sickness and that reassures me too.

kiki28 sorry your nausea is so bad :hugs:

LuvallmyH :happydance::happydance: yay for hb on the doopler and happy 9 weeks , I bought one too cant wait to get the hb on mine

As for me my nausea has pretty much made an exit the last few days but lots of other symptoms still around still semi tender breasts , constipation has finally set in and my appetite is increasing  Just a few more days till my scan even tho some of my symptoms are fading I am not to worried cause hcg levels can peak between 8 to 12 weeks since I had such dark progression early on my hpts I assume it is already peaking

I would just like to share how grateful I am. Today at 8w6d I am more pregnant than I have ever been. What a milestone, I have made it to the end of the day!:yipee::loopy:
