October 2018 Bumpkins!

7 weeks today feeling just rotten. Terrible ms. Food aversions all over the place. Sore nipples. Cramping here and there and I'm just exhausted. Still dreaming about twins, but from reading around it seems like most women who do only have 1 little bean in there. I feel quite pregnant. I don't remember feeling quite pregnant with my other pregnancies at 7 weeks, but this is my third pregnancy, So that could be explanation enough. Happy to be 7 weeks!

Sorry about feeling rubbish brieri. :hugs:

This is my third too :) nausea is getting worse by the day! Feels so different to ds and dd. And I'm not sure if its just me.. but my belly also feels firmer already (its super squishy usually, so i noticed right away!) If i try to sleep on my stomach (my most comfortable position!!:dohh:) it feels like pressure .. cant get comfy at all! Im sure this came waaay later before

My nausea isn’t any better either really but what’s even worst is the dizzy spells I have. I actually feel like I’m going to faint and have to go lie down, I get sweats and all sorts it’s horrible and happens atleast 4 times a day! No idea what’s causing that but hopefully just a normal pregnancy thing like increased circulation system and not enough blood yet or something?

Still feeling sicky over here - yesterday I hardly felt it but today its already back with a vengance :(

I slept yesterday 2 hours in the afternoon and another 3 hours in the evening - no matter how much i sleep I always feel exhausted! SO different from last time!

Nausea hitting me hard these days. Can bately keep anything down.

I am sorry you ladies are having such bad ms , I am still just getting quesy myself but I have feeling the bad ms will be here soon :hugs:

I think that I just dont get that much ms. I do feel nausea on and off during the day, there doesnt seem to be much of a pattern. I think when I feel really bloated it gets worse. I get dizzy spells which arent fun though. I guess I just should be happy Im not sick. I have still had cramping/stretching feelings everyday.

Does anyone else feel the most cramping when you are in the car? I dont know why but whenever I ride in the car I get lots of cramping and I cant figure out why. Yesterday I drove 2 and a half hours and today I have to drive two and a half hours back. I worry all the time anyway and now I worry that they car ride was bad!

I take a progesterone suppository every night and a couple nights ago I noticed my cervix finally rose way up. Before it was mediumish and now it is way up there. I read that some women it takes a few weeks and I guess it was that way for me.

Im so excited that Im 8 weeks today! If the baby is alive and healthy right now, I have never gotten this far with any of my miscarriages only with my sucessful pregnancy. I have an ultrasound on thursday and I read that if you see a hb at 8 weeks you have only a 2% chance of a miscarriage!

Blah11 -- totally normal. I'm also feeling the same.

Glad there are so many strong symptoms in this group. I'm already excited to meet all the little ones!

I’ve been signed off for another week, meaning I’ve been off for almost a month now! Feel so guilty and pathetic but also know I won’t manage a 13 hour shift.

Have booking in appointment tomorrow as I missed last weeks due to the snow.

Aww sorry you're not feeling great :hugs: hope you feel better soon.

Good luck for your booking appointment! I have to sit and wait til the midwife rings me to make my first app! Im super impatient already :haha:

Im the same blah - have been off for 3 weeks now, and dr booked me off for additional 4weeks yesterday!
It feels strange, and I feel guilty. But at the moment this baby is my priority.

Hi ladies,

Joining the Oct group! Found out last week that we we're pregnant with our 3rd by surprise. We wanted 3 or 4 but my DS just turned 1 March 2nd and I want to wait until he was at least 2. My DD is 3 at the end of May. Looks like I'm headed into the 3 under 5 class.

I'm 7 weeks today and we go for our 1st scan on thurs.

I'm a SAHM and it was already exhausting dealing with a baby and a toddler...can't say I'm too excited to add being preggo to the mix. But it's starting to sink in that this is happening as I get more symptoms. Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.

Since we have a boy and a girl we're going to stay team yellow this time around. Hope to join you ladies for a H&H 9 months!

Welcome pb921124 :hugs:

How is everyone holding up?

My nausea has been off and on quite a relief from my other 2 pregnancies :hugs: Just 1 more week till my first scan and I am getting so anxious , my dh has to work that day so my 17 year old is gonna come with me

AH wow you guys will be busy but just think how close they’ll be and they’ll always have a playmate. My youngest 2 have a 2 year gap (4 & 6) and they play well together. Actually my middle and oldest (she’s 9) play really well together also but I imagine a even smaller age gap would be even better! There will be almost 5 years between my youngest and this baby which I’m looking forward to as she’ll be in school so I’ll get lots of alone time with baby also.

Exciting stuff with the scan! That’s a nice thing for your 17 year old to experience with you - lovely! We have our next scan on the 20th and we shall tell the children after which I can’t wait for, hopefully they’re all super excited haha

pb921124 - wow. 3 under 5. That'll sure be a fun ride lol. Congrats :)

There's going to be an almost 7 year gap between my eldest and this baby which I feel is quite big... but hey ho! I had a 2.5 year gap between DD and DS and thought it was perfect... but at least this baby will get a little more attention while DD and DS are in school :)

There will be almost 10 years between this baby and my eldest! Crazy haha! My BF is 19 years older than his youngest sibling though x

Oh wow 19 years is quite a gap! I guess baby's are meant to come when they come.. not a moment sooner haha.

I'm sure the 7 year gap will be fine.. just a slight concern as IF baby is a girl, my DD and her will have to share.. not sure how that'll work.. but they'll have quite a big bedroom with their own space so I'm sure it'll be fine.

DS will only be a 4 and a bit year gap.. so much less concern about them sharing.

There will be a 21 and 18 year gap for me but the girls are really excited to have a younger sibling on the way
