October 2018 Bumpkins!

Advice needed:
As I mentioned before, at my 12w scan doc was certain its a boy and at 20w scan doc thought it might be a girl (but wasn't sure due to alot of movement and umbilical cord in the way). Anyway... We have decided to go for an elective to finally find out (we hope)
How long would you girls wait before the scan? I think 24w just to be safe, but it feels like forever away...

Any time as the genitals are fully formed now. I would believe the 20 scan more so than the 12 week. The nub looks the same til 13 weeks then it either stays flat or rises. I'll be surprised if they were wrong at 20 weeks. But it is nice to have it confirmed again. I was told girl 3 times now because I found it hard to believe lol

I can't believe I'm nearly 23 weeks ! I feel so swollen already and too hot! It's gonna be a long summer girls!

Girls my little girl weighed approx 1lb 1ozs at 22 weeks exactly. She told me it was spot on.
Was anyone else told their baby's weight at their anatomy ? What was it and how many weeks ?
My son was 1lb 6ozs at 23 weeks and was born 6lbs 13ozs

Blo - I'd say you're fine to do another scan as soon as you want to. The only thing that will affect it is if baby is moving a lot, and that can happen no matter which week you do it. Maybe go for 23w if you're too impatient for 24?

Red - I haven't had my anatomy scan yet, but I had an elective u/s last week at 19+5 and baby weighed 304 grams (10.7oz).

They told me the baby's weight at my 21 weeks scan!
410g (14.4oz). She told me it was a big baby.

Def not big! That's bang on. My son was 1lb 6ozs at 23 weeks and was born 6lbs 13ozs so I guess means nothing

With my first baby I never "showed" a bump wore all my pre pregnancy clothes weighed only 120lb the day he was born, I was told he would only be 5lbs soi imagine my surprise when he literally rolled out weighing 8lb 2oz 22 1/2 inch long!!!! Omg it was a shock for my doctor!! Ive never carried like that again but he wasby far my biggest healthiest baby! You look perfect!!!

I measured very small last pregnancy and ended up with scans every few days, and told she would be 5lbs also but out she came a week late weighing 7lb7. So maybe just the same. My heaviest was my boy at 7lb15 41+1 weeks and my smallest was my first at 6lb4 but 39 weeks exactly.

Your bumps are so cute ! I will upload a pic Saturday at 21 weeks along with my anatomy scan pics . I been busy painting her crib trying to get it done we order her nursery set next week ! My theme is totally different too I will share pics when i get it set up

Hope everyone is doing ok. I am 22 weeks now and my weight gain up to now is only 4.4 kilos. I feel fantastic but I definitely do not have the glow this time around. I'm washing all the baby stuff today to get it done. Serious nesting going o this side.

Wish I could start on my nursery already, we are in the process of buying a house so will hopefully move before October (Its been a loooong story about trying to buy land as a foreigner).

How much have you guys got already for baby things ? Here is what I got so far her carseat and stroller arrived 2 days ago I still need some burp cloths and some extra sheets and a few more bottles incase she doesnt latch good I still want her to at least have breast milk for the first few months
