October/November 2012 Babies

She's great. Stays up a little late sometimes, but not as late as her sister did when she was her age (Michaela would be up til 5 am most nights... SO EXHAUSTING). She goes down by 2 am most nights and will stay down for 6-7 hrs.

She's getting bigger all the time and spending a lot more time awake and cooing. Very easy going girl, which is good because her sis keeps wanting to pat her on the head and poke her in the eye. Eep!

Lol lovely big sister!! I have one I know!!

That's good though that she sleeping that long..

So bentlie was due to eat at ten it was th 5 hr mark I was gonna let her wake up on her own but she didn't so I woke her up n gave her gas drops n she started rooting so she usually eat 4/5 ounce but she only ate 3!!!!! Which is great by me bc at least she ate that..maybe that will put her back on track bc she used to wanna eat bout 10-12 pm then we would go to bed but that's off..
So now I made sure she don't go 12 hrs :)!!!!!!!!

Bout the staying up all day she does maybe that's y she sleeps all night?
She might sleep ten twenty mins max!!

Good morning!! She did good last night sleep from midnight to 6:30 an ate again.. How did it go last night

I'm glad she ate more Annie. Last night was good for Josalyn- the last 2 nights have been. She's back to her old schedule. Asleep at 11, eat at 4, eat at 6, up at 9 for an hour or so, then back to sleep til 11or 12. It's been good!

That's wonderful... I'm so glad it's all back to normal.. :)

Bentlie at at 6:30 and then back at 10 she might have been really tired that night she slept for 12 hrs.. I'm not gonna worry just as long as he is eating :)

Do u work?

Nope, I quit my job last Tuesday! I was supposed to go back this coming Monday from my maternity leave. But we decided it would be best for me to stay home with her! :)

I'm thinking about getting my Masters degree over the next few years while I'm staying home with her.

What about you Annie? Do you work?

Okay ladies...I just caught up.
annie-so glad you got one thing cleared up now I hope you get the throwing up thing figured out. We had that problem with our oldest daughter and we found out we were over-feeding her and she was just colicky--so we just let her cry or gave her gas drops. It was from 6weeks til about 3 months old. Good luck hun I know its stressful, it made me very depressed especially since it was my first baby.
About the sleeping thing...my doctor always says that when they're hungry they will wake up and let you know. So, we never wake our baby up to feed them.
We have the same routine every night and it works for us. :)
Lanay is doing amazing! She's so big though...gosh it makes me sad. Already over 13lbs.
As for me, I had xrays done on my back and my doctor didn't notice anything that would be causing me this much pain...so he suggested a breast reduction---so I am waiting for a call for a consultation to go find out if they think I would be a good candidate. I'm only 4'11 and am a 36DDD so I would say "the girls" put a lot of strain on my back. I'm not sure where we are with the actual thought of surgery right now but we're gonna go and see if our insurance would pay for it since its for health reasons and all that...It is something I have always wanted once I was a Double D but I wanted to wait til I was done having kids and lost the baby weight...now that I'm basically there I am sorta freaked out about it...lol
Sorry for such a long post...

Omg, 4'11" and 36DDD?! No wonder your back hurts! Those suckers must be heavy! :(

I'd be kinda freaked out about surgery too, I don't blame you. But you would most likely end up feeling so much better, especially since you've been wanting it for a while!

I hope insurance will cover it!
ETA: I have a friend who had a reduction and it changed her life. Her back feels better, she feels more confident, less self conscious...I hope it works out for you!

Thank you so much! Yes I was 32DD at 18 and hated it!! So definitely something I've wanted and do think I'll feel better and be able to wear normal clothes lol. Plus I have been in so much pain that I'm almost in tears while giving my kids a bath. Its been stressful the past couple of weeks.
