about the major gas bentlie has it to.. she will be content and then ball up in a ball i have tried gripe water and gas drops it only helps poor baby it has to hurt so bad..

she is still in newborn clothes she is over a month old and only 19 in long and weighing 7lb 10 ounces... but atleast she is still; gaining..

My doctor said that infants only produce about 30% of the lactose that 1 yr olds make. Are you Bfing? If so, your breastmilk contains lactose. If you consume dairy products it can also mean more lactose in your BM. Your LO could also be allergic to milk protein. To check the allergy you have to go to the pedi. For the lactose issue you can try cutting out some of your dairy and see if that helps. If you are using formula I don't have any answers...
This is just what has helped us...

bexxc-Super cute! Looks like he's dancing

Lanay slept well again last night. I bathed her at 6:30 pm, fed her & read her a story, put her to bed and she didn't wake up until 2:30am. Of course I didn't get my other 2 in bed and myself asleep til 9pm but I still got a good stretch of sleep. Sleep is amazing! Haha...

She is staying awake most of the day now, she just has little cat naps here and there so that is probably why she is sleeping so well at night now. She is starting to smile at me as soon as I pick her up and it just melts my heart. I noticed some of her 3month clothes are starting to look snug on her so I weighed myself holding her and then without her and there was a 13lb difference! I know its not exactly accurate but OMG! She doesn't go to her 6week checkup until next Wednesday.

Sorry been kinda MIA, things have been crazy. The girls are 6 weeks and we are postponing all their shots til Jan. we like to do the late schedule and have them spaced out. But we have all been sick the last week and my hubby has been in and out of town. We did have family pictures taken last week and they turned out better than expected. I did stop bf as it was very hard to do both and they were still not latching right, so I was trying, pumping and bottle feeding and then still trying to take care of my son. I was super stressed and couldnt produce enough to feed them both.
I will try and upload some new pictures tomorrow, right now I am getting out ALONE to do some shopping.

We went to Zoo Lights last night all 5 of us plus my inlaws. It was nice to get out of the house and walk around It was chilly weather but we were bundled up and Lanay slept the whole time until the last 10 minutes so we grabbed a family pic realy quick.


Oh, and AF showed up yesterday...ugh! I had an appt scheduled for Monday for my 6 week checkup, but I'm going to change it to Friday...

Thanks I had a great time shopping, even got some more in today and only have 1 more person to buy for. Things are going ALOT better since I stopped bf, I have gotten more things done and my son is getting more attention.
I went to Gymboree today and OH MY GOODNESS do they have the cutest things for girls, I spent way to much money and everything I got was on clearance. but I LOVE it. I am going to have to limit myself on going there to like once every few months.

AMM-So glad that things are better for you and that you are getting out of the house! We, as moms, need that time! I had that time a little yesterday and then again today. I always have to watch what I grab when shopping for my girls. It's so easy to spend $100 quickly!
MommyH&annie-Love your photos! Now I wish I got Lanay out and took a picture of her and Santa, but she was sleeping and we didn't want to disturb her. Oh well I guess...

I cannot believe it's so close to Christmas already! Time has flown by since Lanay has joined our family 6 weeks ago today! Wow!
