****OCTOBER TESTING THREAD**** The LUCKY month!!~163 gorgeous testers,27 BFPs so far!

Eeeeeeeek! Ok I've got my :bfp:!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So freakin excited! Hubby didn't believe me when I first showed him. Then I've had to endure an excrutiating time waiting for my inlaws to leave so i can check the test again. I checked it against a previous test i took that was a bfn when i first took the test this evening and I've just showed it to hubby to compare, and now he's like, yeah ok i believe you now!

The line's only faint but he kinda believes I'm pregnant now, he just wnts to see a darker line, tried explaining to him about release of pregnancy hormone and he just glazed over. When i've finaly convinced him he thought he'd got me out and he said, " yeah but we haven't had sex for like 3 days!" Bless him!!

Just because the line is faint, I'm def pregnant though right? I'm right that it doesn't have to be as dark as the control line?!

Now here's my worry, i'm going to a party for my mums birthday tomorrow and usually have a drink, if i don't my family are goina know something's up! What should I do????

:wohoo:
congratulations!!!!!!!

Ok ladies, I really need so opinions/insight/anything!

I tried posting on the other section and no one replied, so I'm hoping for some responses here.

Well, as some of you know, I had MC at the end of Sept, and finally now the bleeding stopped. So Dr and mom are saying to wait a cycle and TTC again after the next period. I kind of agree with them but also at the same time a part of me doesn't want to listen to them. I was 6.5 weeks when I miscarried. Has anyone been (or known anyone) in the same situation? What decision did you (or that person) make? I heard you are more fertile right after MC, but at the same time I heard that waiting 1 cycle is good if you want everything to heal. Please give me input - I'm happy with any advise/stories - just want honest opinion.

Thanks in advance and lots of :dust:

Hi hun....sorry I can't really help you because I don't know anyone that's been through what you have. I hear what the doctor is saying, about giving yourself time to heal, but at the same time, if it was me....I wouldn't want to have a month lost TTC, especially when I knew I was extra fertile. And considering it was such an early loss, so the baby wouldn't have been much more than cells at that point (I'm assuming?!)....and it's been a couple of weeks already. I don't know....I could be completely wrong.

Just follow your heart...you know what's best for YOU...and how your body is feeling. If you feel physically ok, and healed....then you do what you want to do chick xxxxx

Thanks hun :flower: oh man I wish I was a fortune teller so that I would know what the outcome would be --> AF or healthy pregnancy then I'd go for it. Another MC then no way in hell! Decisions, decisions :dohh:

I'm sorry to hear your news i too suffered a miscarriage last september 2010. I felt the same as you i told my hubby i wanted to try straight away as soon as the bleeding stopped so we did but i was still depressed over the loss of the pregnancy :(

Anyway i found out i was pregnant again in december 2010 which also ended in m/c both at about 6-7 weeks :(

My advice would be to ttc when you definitely feel ready. Gud luck x

i'm out. witch got me today. CD1 and my 32nd birthday!

At least I can drink now, well, maybe wait until after lunchtime.

Congrats to the girls who got their BFPs! :happydance: October seems to be lucky!

Sorry to those who got AF! Hopefully November will be lucky for you girls! :hugs:

Hi girlies...hope you are all ok.

I'm 10 DPO and I took a couple of internet cheapie preg tests this morning....and I can definately see something, but I'm not sure if they are EVAPS or not, because I'm pretty new to this, and I've never seen an EVAP before.

I was wondering, if any of you have time, if you would please click my TTC journal link in my signature below, and check out my last post on page 8....I have posted pics of my 9PO test from yesterday, and also my 10 DPO tests from this morning....also with tweaks.

I'm figuring that alot of you lovely ladies are a bit more experienced on what evaps look like etc.

I'm in no way getting excited, because personally I do think these are evaps....any opinions?? xx

Thanks lovely. I will test again monday. Much appreciated xx

I'm out ladies... The :witch: arrived this morning on her broom. Oh well, on to next month!

Thank you so much for replying. Hubby and I are leaning towards waiting 1 cycle. Emotionally I feel much better, but you are right - it is best to wait to heal. I'm sorry you had to go through this horrible experience twice  I wish for you to have your forever baby soon! :dust:
