Hi girlies,
bit of a rude topic, sorry! what are views on orgasms? I keep worrying about harming the baby but can't go six months more without them!

I think it would be cruel to deprive yourself.... I have been a lot more *ahem* horny of late and long days alone off work have led to the occasional bit of 'me time' much stronger and better than normal. Apparently they give baby a euphoric feeling... so on that note, go make your baby happy!

I would only avoid if experiencing cramping or spotting / bleeding as I wouldnt wanna make the uterus contract.
I have avoided them this week as well as sex (although OH is loving BJ week haha) for thew above reason but i certainly wont be ruling them out till April !!!!!!!

Of course it won't harm the baby! Think of all the happy chemicals in your body after orgasm.
Have fun - sex is the last thing I feel like doing at the moment!

I have read that after you are pregnant the hormones in your body stops your uterus contracting during an orgasm so as to keep baby safe?

I DTD through my entire pregnancy with DS and had no problems

I think unless you've had lots of previous miscarriages or experienced bleeding you'll be fine

My doctor said it is perfectly fine and as long as you are not spotting, etc. Go for it! I have heard that it gives the baby a euphoric feeling as well, so go for it!!!!

The only issue I have come acroos with the big O and pregnancy is that it does make your uterus contract, so your tummy tightens up a bit, and it's slightly painful for me. But it doesn't last long, and it's well worth it. LOL
