Our book advent... (pics)

I picked up a few wooden crates in home bargains for our christmas eve box, advent & hampers.
Photos of the books I've wrapped this year incase anyone is looking for ideas?
The only one not pictured is called just right - we keep that one out all year because it's such a great story.

We do a book advent But I don't make it all Christmas/winter themed books because I thought she'd get bored as they can be quite similar, I just buy a bunch of random ones I think she'd like haha xx

Your so organised! I have all of the books for our advent calendar but haven't wrapped a single one (and very much doubt they will look as lovely as yours do when I do them all in a rush on 30th November �&#56860

I'm doing books. I'm way behind though as I've only bought 2 books so far I'm making a wooden santa sleigh for my advent calendar and I've only just got the sides cut out. I need to get a move on!

I wrap the ones I like to read best & number them 1-7 & the ones I think are pants get put in at day 20+ so that she can't keep asking me to read them.

They look lovely Marmaduke! We're doing similar, its a mixture of Christmas, monsters, train track book with train, sound books and 4 Christmas DVDs. Didn't realise how many amazon book deals I fell for last year

Yep, we're doing a book advent too I don't have a box for them yet, but I definitely have more Christmas/winter themed books than I need. I may have a few days that I wrap 2 books up for. Still need to get them all wrapped.

Love this idea! Going to do something similar but it's not just books it is going to be books and activities.

We do both too! We have a box with a book per day and an advent calendar in which will be a slip of paper saying what the activity for that day is. The beauty of the activity one is that its little drawers so I can change them if needed as I'm a bit worried about keeping up the activities every single day! Luckily at the age of 2 he'll be happy if the activity is as simple as messy play in the bath as he will at the meet santa things we've got booked! Got to remember to keep my camera batteries charged all month as I've somehow managed to wangle a whole month of work to spend with my munchkin. going to be fantastic!
