Ovidrel and BF?

Hi,
I had my trigger shot on last wednesday.
Today, I used a pregnancy test: slightly positive. I assume it is because og the trigger shot (Ovidrel) ? Can you confirm?
We can I test and get a reliable result?

It depends, did you get 5,000 units or 10,000 units? About a 1,000 goes away each day. So, if you had 10k then it's still the trigger. And if you had 5k then there might be a tiny bit left. I would wait a few days and test again. Also if it gets darker instead of lighter, its a good sign.

If you in fact had 5,000 then it's promising! How faint? Did you take a pic? I had a 5,000 unit shot and 5 days after it was really faint, 6 days I don't think I could see anything (maybe if I squinted really good), and day 7 after there was nothing.

They told me to not test until 16 days after the trigger. I think that's a bit extreme, but that's what they told me. Best wishes to you!

I tested this morning... I have no idea what to think.
I don't know which line is darker...
I'm almost certain that I won't get a BFP this cycle, but I'd like to know when I can reliably test next cycle!

I really think you should call and ask how many units the trigger was, since you said you weren't positive if it was 5,000 or 10,000. How many DPO are you now? At 5,000 it's very promising, but at 10,000 you still have to wait. I understand about wanting to know when you can test next cycle, that's why 2 cycles ago I tested it out starting the day after the trigger. Unfortunately, mine only ever got lighter and then disappeared.

I've checked. It was 250 micrograms. (so I don"t know in UI... i've found an article saying that it is the equivalent of 5000)

Well, that makes it a little trickier. And is it uL (microliter) or is it IU (international units)? I found an answer for IU though. 250mcg is equivalent to 6500 IU (https://www.emdserono.ca/cmg.emdser... to mcg for Ovidrel_tcm463_84832.pdf?Version= )

Aren't you like 12 days last trigger by now? So with either conversion it's looking good. Fx'd for you! Let me know how it turns out.
