I took an ovulation test this AM it's my first this month I am CD 8 and I already see a faint second line. Is ovulation occurring already? This is only the second month I have used the test I mainly relied on temping earlier in the process but either wait hubby and I are BD ing tonight! How can I post a photo on here? BD to all!

The control line and the test line should be near enough the exact same darkness if the test line is lighter then its a negative.

Most women have a small level of LH in their urine all cycle long. I found that on the days leading up to a positive OPK, the test line would get progressively darker until it became positive.
Also, you may want to test in the afternoon rather than in the AM for two reasons - firstly, in the AM your urine is more concentrated so you may get a false positive, and second, your surge usually occurs in the early morning hours and takes until afternoon to show up in your urine.
