Ovulation tests and BBT... what do I need to know?

Got a couple of questions for you experienced ladies!
What I want to ask is, what do I need to know?! Haha! Is there anything to make sure I do/don't do when charting? I'll be using FF to record my results. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm completely new to all this!
