pain in womb area

Just a query.. I have been getting pain in my groin area like a coming and going stabbing type pain, not severe.. but it hurts... had my 17 week check at GP yesterday and she found the heart beat and she felt things were fine... but I got a couple of pains yesterday and have had to stop a couple of times today... a little worried!! Any suggestions..?

hey hunni ive had the same but at 14 weeks! i went to midwife and she told me its the ligaments stretching! she gave it a name and i forgot it ummmmmmmmmmmmm let me think its called round ligament stretching i think?!

As long as you have heard a heartbeat and the pains arnt unbearable / have bleeding with them your fine xx

Hi, I had the same at 15 weeks and was told that it was my uterus expanding. I'm no expert but it might just be your body adjusting. Although this is my first baby and it freaked me out last weekend as I feared it was worrying but it could also be baby moving/kicking which would be wonderful!

Hope your pregnancy is going well otherwise. x
