painting half a room??

Were redoing our lbs room and devided to paint half then put a boarded up. Itw transport themed, we also have some canvas's and decals

So my question - would you paint halfway bang on or a bit more, a foot more.

Its just an average heighted room

its totally upto you, but ide personally go from the bottom 1/3 paint, border then 2/3 paint.

dont forget to put the darker colour on the bottom. heres a link for some ideas.

Borders usually look best about a third the way up the wall from the floor. Halfway would look a bit odd.

We went with a 3rd like this (we didn't use boarding after all but the paint colors give the same effect visually):

It makes it much easier to have your focal points in the right places, especially with decals and things. Halfway just doesn't feel right to me really.
