Sorry to hear about your previous losses, I can see how hard it must be. Obviously i can't tell you one way or another what's happening but I can say that strong pains on one side aren't always an indication of ectopic... Although obviously you should always have it checked out! I went in for an early scan with this pregnancy because of very painful cramping on the left hand side. I was convinced it must be ectopic it was so severe. But, it wasn't. The main thing is obviously is there any bleeding along with it? Can you not get checked because the early preg unit is closed till then or something? An alternative route is to have your doctor give you 2 blood tests 2-3 days apart. Though I suppose at this time of year that could be just as tricky to get done. Anyway, I hope it works out.... Ectopics are rare as you probably know, a second consecutive one would be rarer still.
