Parent + Forward Facing Pushchair

ooo thanks very much for the responses so far, I'm off to look them all up now:thumbup:
does anyone have any knowledge on this one https://www.mothercare.com/Quinny-Z...1/275-0355509-4925265?_encoding=UTF8&mcb=core just I've seen a few of these 2nd hand but I'm not sure if they're any good?

This is only forward facing. I have the Zapp (not Zapp extra) and it is ok, this is probably what you have seen 2nd hand, the Zapp extra hasn't been out very long so I doubt there are many second hand ones about. The Zapp is from 6 months and doesn't recline, but it is brilliantly small and light and folds tiny. No good AT ALL on rough terrain though!

Oh i thought it said on there it was forward as well as parent facing:wacko:
it may well of been the other Zapp that I've seen second hand though, thanks!

i have the OBaby Zezu Pramette, its light, is compact enough to fit into my car boot (fiat punto) faces both front and back and also lies down without the need for a separate carry cot, comes in a range of different colours and designs, you can fit a car seat onto the chassis if need be (does have to be OBaby's car seat though), my LO is very comfy in it and best of all it was reasonable in price. I love mine and always gets commented on when I'm out and about as it is different (I have the dotty purple design)

I have this one too only its the zezu sport in black & red. Its been a fab pram/pushchair so far. The only fault i have had with it soo far is that the back wheels are really quite wide & i do catch them on things. But other than that its been a fab buy & fits in my peugeot 206

The zapp xtra faces either way but when facing you it doesn't sit fully upright I found few that might be of interest to you

i have the babystyle oyster which has a very cheap resale value, and i also have the bugaboo chameleon, which doesn't

id recommend them both xx

can't seem to find any cheap Cherrys, Solas or Oysters, not having much luck, hopefully something will come up:cry:

does anyone know if the normal Quinny Buzz seat faces in and out?

The Graco Symbio handle flicks from parent-facing to forward-facing at the flick of a switch, takes two secs. Obviously havent used it yet but have had a good play and love it, read loads of good reviews too -

Also comes in grey instead of the red.

Charlie what is your budget?

I am so in love with my Cherry :D I could not be more pleased with it, I love it nearly as much as my baby

I have the mothercare Xcursion, got a great deal on it too, £285 for the full travel system.
Mia always looks very comfortable in it, even in the pushchair mode.
I find its lovely to steer, not overly heavy but heavier than others, quite roomy for baby and looks good IMO!
If you want any info or anything about it just send me a PM and ill be happy to help :)
xx

Evan is 3 months tomorrow and can go in the seat but only if it is laying down as he can't sit up in it yet. He was 13lbs 5oz last week :)

He's nearly outgrown the carrycot the lil fatty :haha:

ahh thanks for the help

anna i'll have a look at that site, I can't really afford more than about £140, unfortunately we're on a really tight budget but I just hate the one I've got so much!!
as for the size of the cherry i'm sure that wouldn't be a problem she's nearly 14lbs and is only 10wks :haha:

thanks for the link for the Graco it looks good but not sure if it can be used before 6months, but your right it does look really easy.

the xcursion does look good, just annoying it comes with the car seat as we don't need one and it would be cheaper without it lol!

I was in a similar situation to you and ended up buying a 2nd hand Quinny Buzz 3 off ebay. It is parent and outward facing but cant sit completely upright in the parent facing mode.

The buzz is quite heavy but I do like it. LO is really comfy in it and I love being able to see him when we're out and about.

I love my Jane Solo Reverse PF and FF.... it's a faff changing the seat round but as I don't do it often i'm not fussed, the basket is also a little small but the frame is so lightweight and once folded it fits in the boot of a KA... it has 3 seat positions and LO loves it :)

I don't like it, but it was given to us so what with being short on money we couldn't really turn it down. Its ok to push out and about but living in a flat it kills me lifting it up and down two flights of stairs. Plus its a bit on the big side, I always wanted something a bit smaller and modern looking:dohh:
