Parents who were preemies

hi all i know alot of us have been through the preemie experiences with our children it would be nice to share stories if any of us were preemies ourself.

I myself was a 3lb 4 preemie emergancy c-section at 32 weeks due to my mum having severe pre-eclamsia and me stopping growing.

I was born at 28 weeks by emergency c-section as I'd stopped growing and my mum's waters broke. I weighed 2lb 5oz.

Although it's left me with a lot of health problems - heart conditions, etc, I'm so proud of my mum for staying strong.

id stopped growing too but due to severe pre-eclampsia, the only health problems ive had are excema, asthma and epilepsy x

I was born at 34weeks due to PROM but was a decent size at 6lb 7oz. No major long term health problems.

I was 29 weeks and I had my wee 27 weeker. It really make me appreciate what my mum went through back then! i dont have any long term problems at all, and all that together made me go on to to help others

I was born at 34 weeks weighing 3lb 12oz due to my mum have severe pre-e. I spent around 2 months in scbu but I have had no health problems at all and have not had a preemie myself .. infact ds1 didnt want to come out lol x

I was late to the point of being a day or so off induction.

I was due in may was born in march..nearly 3 months pre term...
I was 4 pounds but I was very very long and that made up to 4 pounds....I was 21 inches already!! I have some major health issues..

three out of 4 of my babies where preterm as well....my mom went preterm cause her water went and i got an infection i was born with 104 fever and bruises all over and they dont know what from....

my kids i had prerterm labor from 4 months on.....

I was a 33 weeker due to placenta praevia and rhesus disease. I'm missing a bit of a lung but otherwise fine lol. I was 4lb. My girly was full term though at 38+3

I was born at 35 weeks weighing 4lb 13oz. Had a couple of days treated for jaundice but that was it. Have no health problems and didn't growing up either.

I can't help but laugh that my poor mum went to the hospital because she was in labour and the midwife shouted at her asking what had she been doing to put herself in labour. Imagine them doing that now.

I was born exactly one month early (Due May 9th, born on April 9th) weighing 3lbs 9oz. I spent 1 month in the NICU. I do not have, nor did I have growing up, any major health problems.

My daughter was born at 31+3 by emergency c-section due to severe pre-eclampsia. She weighed in at 2lbs 13oz and 15.5 inches long. She was born very healthy. They initially put her on oxygen, but she was off of it by the end of the first day. She spent 24 days in the NICU and 7 days in the NPCU. So far, no major health issues for her.
