I'm not sure how many we want. I think 3. After that we will have to see if we want a 4th, but 3 seems good to me. I'm gonna be pink swaying again for #2 and for #3 I'm gonna leave it up to chance and see what happens haha. I always had a reoccurring dream I had triplets - 2 girls and a boy. So we will see

omg how can you carry triplets! and how would u take care of them? i would be scared to have triplets.

I hate odd numbers so cant have 3, gotta be 2 or 4 hehehe im weird

I don't think the dream meant triplets. Just 3 children. Dreams usually aren't too literal.

My bloods were all normal so hoping I don't have clotting issues. If your blood tests were fine I would see how it goes. Baby aspirin should really only be taken if recommended by dr.

My OH seems to want 3 from our discussions! I always wanted that many too but now I have PCOS it seems less appealing due to the stress of it

Great news! ur blood test, what did they check?

My GP checked everything - liver function, kidney function, full blood count, cholesterol, testosterone, LH, FSH, Prolactin, thyroid & diabetes etc. Prolactin was high first time but normal on repeat. Cholesterol was high but nothing major apparently. LH was my raised hormone.

The stress of ttc is definitely one of the factors in us only have two. Our next will be our last unless we have a surprise. But dh said he will get snipped at 35 so that's just over 3 years away. I doubt we will have 2 more in that time. We are 20 months into ttc #2 as it is.

Me and my oh were saying the same last night that we won't ttc after we've had our second but we won't prevent. We'd be over the moon with the 3 but can't go through this process again as it takes too much out of us x

We keep teetering between 1 and 2. I think I would be happy just stopping after one and NTNP after that. This constant tracking and testing and worrying is just a roller coaster that is driving me crazy!! lol

Afm, my appt went really well. Doctor suspects it's low progesterone coupled with bad embryos. He said when my labs were done this last time my progesterone was 0.7 (he said over 10 is ideal). Even with supplementation it was only a 7. So he is doubling my progesterone.

He wants me to do 3 more months of clomid and is optimistic we will get our sticky bean in that time.

I'm currently on progesterone to bring on af then will start clomid again.

He also did labs to check for clotting, thyroid and lupus just to rule them out.

Krissie sounds like you found a good doctor! Clomid n progesterone will solve the problem then. Got my fx for u!

Heyy!! Newbie here but I am currently TTC. have been for 5 years. Finally diagnosed with PCOS in April. This cycle my RE prescribed femera 5mg. No luck, no follie growth. So he extended my cycle and gave me 7.5mg for 5 more days. And yay!! 3 mature follies. Dominate one at 19mm. Scheduled to trigger with ovidrel on June 28th. So I did that, and 36 hours would have been yesterday morning at 11am. Well no signs of ovulation yet. But still hopeful it worked. Tech I am 1dpo today and will be testing on July 14th..

I plan on testing out the ovidrel bc right now all the tests say positive, so I am going to test it out bc I am a crazy person lol.

FX for everyone in this thread. I am so alone on my journey and keep researching everything. Very hopeful to have found my community!!

How come u were given femara n not Clomid? I read that clomid is more successful for pcos but who knows! I keep reading stuff online n can never trust the source.

Do you temp? How do you track ovulation?

Hello everyone, new to this thread. I've been TTC Baby #2 for 4 years this month... Wow, can't believe it's been 4 years. I just switched to a new gyn last month who had me come in for day 3 bloodwork and an internal scan today (cd11). She said that the scan looked normal except there were no follicles and my bloodwork was normal except for my lh which wasn't equal to my fsh. So she said this was a marker for pcos (which I've suspected for a while) and has prescribed me metformin. I'll start tomorrow morning.

I'm a little nervous about experiencing sickness. Bought a probiotic and she said that following a low carb diet can help, which I am anyways. I've recently lost 58 lbs so I'm hoping the weightloss combined with the metformin will help. I used to have signs of ovulation but it doesn't look like it's happening anymore. Fingers crossed this helps because I don't know if I can do this much longer.

Femera has a lot less side effects. And femera is more successful for people with pcos who don't respond to clomid. So most REs are more confident prescribing femera. As far as I know I've never ovulated on my own so I don't track anything. Because I don't have a cycle on my own. I may have AF once a year without provera to provoke it.

I triggered so I'm supposed to definitely ovulate. But I've had no symptoms. So I'm extremely nervous this didn't work. I don't test til July 14th.

So I have a question for everyone. Does your DH seem to want to be more hands off with TTC?

My husband really wants a baby, but says he can't handle the roller coaster ride that it has been the last two months (especially with the chem). This month he is planning a conceptionmoon, but he keeps saying that it is easier for him to not know until we know. I'm driving him crazy with the constant testing. This last month, with the CP, I feel like he took it really hard and it just crushed everything in him. Anyone else's husband like this?

My OH wants to be involved in TTC stuff but he feels under pressure if I say I might be fertile. I guess it all depends on circumstances x

My husband is very hands on in the sense he wants to know what I'm finding out, and wants to know each result of the tests.
