ok, constructive critisism like you wanted...

the first one is too busy, there's alot going on and it draws your attention away from the boys.

The second one is much nicer, it's not busy and it's obvious that the aim was to capture the little boy and how cute he is! I would have maybe tried to get a bit more to his level though, perhaps.

haha im being thick what u mean abit more to his level? xx

Just got back from a nice walk with my mum & Kai. Managed to take a few snaps:

I like the photos babezone :) The 2nd one is my favourite of the two as the little one isn't lost among other people and things in the background. When photographing babies and children, it's often a good idea to kneel down so you're pointing the camera at them on their eye level, rather than pointing it down at them. I still really like the photos as they are though :)

Really nice stuff Neecee. Love that daisy in particular - so crisp and fresh.

To find the size you need Emma, have a look at the ring right round the edge of your lens, on the lens barrel (or in your manual). It will give you the filter thread size, which is written as a sigle number - likely to be either 55 or 58. That is the size, in mm, of the close-up filters you will need; it's the size of the diameter of the lens, so by byuing close-up filters of the same size, you know they will screw on.

I mean like if you crouch down so that you're a similar height to him hun instead of taken from above him. You can get some really cool shots standing above too though.

Still lovely pics though.

noooo guys u dont understand what i did....i didnt take the picture LMAO
i edited it.

basically the first one was taken but my mum wanted a pic of my newphew so i edited it in photoshop and removed the people etc its the same picture just edited.

so was asking if it looked ok as in u cant see no bad parts with the editing like it al looks real enough yer? xx

:dohh: I'm so sorry babezone!
I'm rubbish at editing, so I immediately thought it was for feedback on how the shots were taken, not how they were edited LOL I think you did an excellent job!

wow a heck of alot of posts to catch up on in here....but all GREAT photos!! and ur editing is great on ur nephew!!!

Anna i know how you feel. I barely have had chance to do anything today Ellie has whinged since the minute she woke up i cant wait til bedtime lol.

Emma - love the little fly on the flower! Glad you ordered the filters - you'll love them! I gather you found out what size you needed :)

babezone it looks great for an edit, but there's a little error on the fence (2 swirls right next to each other, where there should only be one) but other than that it's great.
