this looks like a postcard you could actually sell :)

mind telling me how you did this??

xx

awww thanks! Again its all about resizing, but I borded them, white X5 then black X40 then opened onto a new image copied and pasted each pic to were I wanted flattened imaged added black border X15 and then jsut cropped to size!!

Just did this really quickly in about 20mins. I'll do a better effort :dohh:

20 mins :huh::huh: im in awe tats amazing, in the words of leedsforever how did you do that?!!

Here is something I just threw together, using the picture we were supposed to use. I added a night sky and moon in the window, added pillars, changed the floor to a different stone ground, cut out a few of the stairs and pushed them back and added a dragon. Took me about 30 minutes, including the time to find the images :O) I could have done a better job but its getting late.. I may give it another go tomorrow!

thats fab!! love dragons!

just a note girlies: always make sure you're using "stock" images that you 1. have permission to use as such, and 2. have credited the artist for (links etc).... prob seems like an obvious thing to say, but we don't want a "stolen intellectual property" lawsuit on our hands :winkwink:

useful bit of info there, i normally get my pics from copyright free tube sites or photobucket though, never sure were else to get images from !!!

I tend to do more retouching.
First pic is before, the the second is after I had a play

If you mean like this....

open pic go to image, add border option chose white, then make it as thin as you like for this i used width 10 as its a big file, then went back to add border option, chose black and made it 30 then saved as jpeg,

hope this is what you meant xx

(ps if you doing it on a photo with some of a white edge you will ob find it harder to see, so maybe chose a cream shade or grey)

or i do this...

image
canvas size
click the box that says relative

do the white option first bout 1cm of white

then go back and do the black and make it as thick as you like :)

Thanks girls ill give it a shot after ive put the kids to bed but i dont hold any hope it just doesnt seem to work for me not sure if its the version of photoshop that i have!

Thanks girls for the replies i got abit further with it. The white line seems to come out abit faded sometimes strangely but i think it looks ok like it see what you think.
