Please Help !! Is it normal to have cramping after using monistat?

hi

i have a yeast infection and have been using monistat 7 day treatment the last 2 days.

i have had really bad cramping after inserting the cream. could it be from the plastic applicator? is this normal or not?

also it doesn't matter how much you try and lay down after you insert the cream in you i still have some that leaks out and then the undies get all wet.

anything to prevent it from leaking out. im not even using half the applicator. less than half of it.

Hi, when i used the cream earlier in my pregnancy i got told not to use the aplicator and insert it but to just rub the cream on with fingers (just putting a little bit up there). Im not sure if the cramping is from the aplicator but i would try just using fingers - it still fixed the problem for me. And as for the leaking i dont think there is anything you can do to stop that - i used to just put it on before bed so i was only laying down (mine only had to be applied once a day). Not sure if you will find any of this helpfull but I just though i would share my experience.

hey hun i know that yeast infections can cause irritation so maybe when inserting the applicator its making it more irritated.
