Plz help me. What is this. pictures. Update: back from the doctors

I'm so pleased to hear it was nothing nasty and that you have a plan for dealing with the excema :hugs: fantastic weight for your lovely little girl :hugs:

So we have just got home from the doctors. Boy are the roads bad lol. Anyways by this morning the rash under her armpit had disappeared. The doctor said it was probably just too much moisture under it. The other rash though she said looks like eczema and she thinks it is caused by a cows milk allergy. We now have to give her a hypoallergenic formula that is only available by prescription called Enfamil Nutramigen A+.
We also got a steroid free cream to help with the itching. She also found a small heart murmur but said it was common and she would check again in a month and if it was still there she would send up to a Cardiologist but she figures it will be gone by then.

On a positive note she will be 17 weeks old Wednesday and is 14lb 10oz in the 86th percentile for weight and 24.5 inches in the 77th percentile for height. Thank you allfor all the kind words, thoughts and support.

So glad to hear that its nothing serious for your LO. I think I have a large can of that brand of formula that was sent to me as a sample. It'll go to waste here......if you're interested, pm me and I'll mail it to you :flower:

hiya, so pleased everything is okay again not sure if anyone has mentioned liquid talc? Look out for it, if you're worried about using talc powder this stuff is ideal x

Glad to hear your baby is okay. :) Try to ignore the rudeness, that was so uncalled for. :hugs:
And I'm glad you made it to the doctor in this weather! I drove to floor hockey tonight and it took me over an hour on these roads!

Thanks. We passed two accidents this morning just on our way. I really wish it would stop snowing already.

No kidding. The pile from our driveway is so high, soon we'll just be shoveling onto the roof.

Doctor! GO!

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be mean, but why was your first instinct to post pictures on a forum site, especially with weeping pus under her arm?

Haven't read the whole thread yet but you are in for a total shocker when your LO arrives, I too used to be a bit smug and think I knew exactly what I would do in a certain situation with a baby but boy have those words come back to bite me...... looks like you're going to learn the hard way!!!!!!!

OP - hope your LO is feeling better x

Gabriel is still on that formula. It does smell funky. Her burps will smell like it and so will her poos! Its kinda sick. lol.
Glad to hear everything is ok. My LO is pretty much on the same everything as yours and he still gets little flare ups on his sideburns.
Just make sure shes nice and lotioned up. :]

My LO has had that armpit thing a couple of times, it looks worse than what it is. Dr said it was just a bit of damp irritated skin - the 'pus' is just dead skin and sweat.

H's armpit went that that once too.

I was mortified, she was tiny and actually it was more sore looking than that photo - but it was an obvious skin+damp issue so we got religious with keeping it clean and dry and used sudocrem for a few days and it was gone.

She had an extra fold which was nearly invisible and only there under 1 arm, strangely.

I imagine A&E would not have been best pleased if I had taken her in for it

Glad she's ok and hope you are feeling better after some of the nasty comments on here xxx

Same here! I had no idea that there was more to Thomas's armpits until I smelt a weird smell and he had the wet issue. He's so fat that his armpits rolls had rolls lol!

we had the armpit issue as well, it's nothing serious, just dry it after baths.
