So we have just got home from the doctors. Boy are the roads bad lol. Anyways by this morning the rash under her armpit had disappeared. The doctor said it was probably just too much moisture under it. The other rash though she said looks like eczema and she thinks it is caused by a cows milk allergy. We now have to give her a hypoallergenic formula that is only available by prescription called Enfamil Nutramigen A+.
We also got a steroid free cream to help with the itching. She also found a small heart murmur but said it was common and she would check again in a month and if it was still there she would send up to a Cardiologist but she figures it will be gone by then.
On a positive note she will be 17 weeks old Wednesday and is 14lb 10oz in the 86th percentile for weight and 24.5 inches in the 77th percentile for height. Thank you allfor all the kind words, thoughts and support.
Glad to hear your baby is okay.Try to ignore the rudeness, that was so uncalled for.
And I'm glad you made it to the doctor in this weather! I drove to floor hockey tonight and it took me over an hour on these roads!![]()
Doctor! GO!
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be mean, but why was your first instinct to post pictures on a forum site, especially with weeping pus under her arm?
My LO has had that armpit thing a couple of times, it looks worse than what it is. Dr said it was just a bit of damp irritated skin - the 'pus' is just dead skin and sweat.

She had an extra fold which was nearly invisible and only there under 1 arm, strangely.
