Hello ladies! Just a quick question. What will the opk look like the day after ovulation? Will it still be as dark as the control, or will it taper off to nothing over a few days?

after the line would be gone or very light some woman always have a 2nd line some dont

Mara, I think it depends on the person. Some people have a short surge and some have a longer surge. Some people will have 1 positive test, and some have several days of positives. Plus not only can it vary per person, but it can vary per cycle too. I know that isn't much help...

Wow, kind of tricky isn't it!

I took a opk last night and it was pretty darn dark and I was thinking "ok, that's positive". So I asked the boyfriend and he said it wasn't quite as dark as the control but almost. At what point do you call it a positive?

when its the same color as the control line if it was that dark you better get some bding in keep in mind not everyones gets as dark as the control line

Yea BD just in case. I don't know what brand you use, but for me a Wondfo had to be much darker than the control to be a real positive, but I'm definitely not normal lol.

Morning Ladies! Got a 96.90 this morning... I am kinda' with that one. There is no logical excuse for that low temp. I am still temping vaginally so no real excuse for it. I will say this though, I didn't expect that one. I was waiting to hear the beep this morning and was thinking wow my temp must be really up there. To my surprise there it was staring me in the face and laughing at me. My chart was looking so, hmmm, so NORMAL!!! And now there it is the oddity! I have really been chatting it up with myself this morning. That's all I needed to talk to myself was that really low temp. Darn it, I am going to be talking to myself all day about it...


So how are you lovely ladies doing this morning?

Where is momma?! I can't believe she is MIA again. I tell you when she gets back she is grounded from going on another thread!!! And she is going to be locked on this one for two weeks!!!

Lol I'm reading and catching up I missed u ladies this weekend we were busy all weekend long between shoots and partys etc. I've been working out hard core and editing a ton of pictures ... I drank on Saturday a lot and my temp Sunday sky rocleted but no go.ew cm.

I'm.so sad I missed misswizz she will be back soon

Now I just have to avoid Target and the Dollar store for the next few days. There's no way I will be strong enough to not buy any hpts if I go to either store.

I know you don't trust your body vey much. And for good reason. If it would have just done what it was supposed to do then you wouldn't be still peeing on opk's. I can't say that I blame you. Other women on a much different thread have no issues. Whomever these said wmen are they are perfect, and their thread is perfect (no typos), and their bodies ovulate and they ALWAYS get a bfp. Of course here we are with the issues and no bfp's..and we also have our typos on our thread. But we are a wonderful group of ladies.

I am going ot be of encouragement. You CAN hold out. Don't go to either store, and if you do you CAN avoid buying hpt's, because you are strong and have will power. No sense in taking it early and not getting both of your lines. So I will not pressure you to test super stupid early. I believe in you, you can hold out until at least 10dpo, I know you can do it!!!

I would be weary of the dollar store opks..They are so hard to tell if its half positive or really positive. They used to be so awesome, now they need to add more dye. I would try amazon..when I get on there I am going to look to see what good deals they have.

Guess what I tried last?! hehehehe Real eggwhite for a CM substitution...I must saw it was awesome. It was better than preseed. PreSeed still feels like a lubricant to me when you use it. It gets really sloppy if you use too much also. Even DH was impressed. everyone know I hardly ever make ewcm on my own. That is so rare. I had some on CD8 though, it wasn't a lot but it was there. Maybe it's the excssive amount of fluids that helped, but given I am trying not miss my LH surge, I have to cut back on the liquids...including the watermelon craving. My opk was dark this morning with FMU and I have Ferning on the old fern-o-scope. So i am going to wait and see what 10 a.m.-6 p.m. bring on the ovulation tests.

most women are terrifed to try real eggwhite..But it's the same makeup as sperm, and ewcm. It's also used as a medium to preserve sperm.

Momma, Glad to see you back!! Busy is good, broke isn't. I'm both lately too after having to pay the $500 deductible on our car...booo!!

Fngrs, I don't think I'd personally do the raw eggwhites, but if you like them and have no problems with it, go for it! I don't really see the typos much, unless it is a different word altogether, then I try to figure it out and move on. When I was younger I was really weird about that sort of thing, but it doesn't bother me anymore.

Well I may be sort of starting to believe that I O'd. I went to bed afraid of a low temp today because I would be let down, but it's still doing it's slow rise.

Oh and thanks for the encouragement, Fngrs! I can wait til 10 dpo. Now if my temp shoots up tomorrow, I may have a hard time waiting hehe. If I can hold out til 14 or 15 dpo, I'd be impressed with myself, but that's almost crazy talk lol.

Fngrs, Maybe you'll get that early O!! Either that or have a nice fertile window to get plenty of BD in.

I have four I think left my temp went up this morning I have used the restroom yet for the second time lol maybe ill use one according to ff I should o this week around Friday.

So I looked up charts with similar post-O temps and a slow rise and I did find a few bfps... so that's good... and some even got bfps at a temp less than the 97.7 ideal. Of course I still have time for my temp to go higher, but I was feeling down about my temp not being very high. I'm glad though it keeps going up. That is at least good.

i think your chart is looking good your temp keeps going up so that has to be a good thing right
