Hmm we'll not too happy with the new thermometer. Got a different brand. Reg. thermometer is giving me 98.3-98.4... New bbt is saying 97.73-97.9. Ummm .5 degrees is a big deal.

Plus I got more FRERs and another BFN, this time with a good sample....Grrr. I don't know if I should even bother temping any ore this cycle. Such a bad time for my thermometer to die! Ugh.

Thanks. I think I'm going to temp with both thermometers and record the regular one and note the new one. My mom tried both too and it gave her a 97.33 on the bbt and a 97.7 on the regular one. I find it hard to believe that my mom's temp would be 97.3 after climbing up 2 flights of stairs. She doesn't have any thyroid issues that we know of and I do (though it is controlled with meds). I rarely found my bbt to be under 97.4 during the day. Of course she doesn't temp like I do either, so who knows what her normal is... but yea the new thermometer seems a little fishy. Plus I read reviews of a lot of people complaining about the Walgreens thermometer having "favorite" numbers it displays, and I've already seen that. My old bbt would move really slowly and seemed to "think" hard before stopping. This one makes big jumps and stops all of a sudden. My regular thermometer "thinks" more too. So, yea I trust the regular one more than the new bbt. I may just return that one and try to find my same one again. I'm thinking I got it from Walmart.

I know my chances of conceiving are low with how BD was timed, but I can't help but think that if I did O, that maybe God did that so it would be His timing and not us trying for it. We'll see. I'd be happy to have O'd, but I wouldn't be looking forward to AF during Christmas and probably my bday and New Years too. Blah.

Im feeling a little better i just keep telling my self this stuff happens sometimes i know its not from stuff im eating i go back the 27th that will be fun because we have to take all 3 girls thanks to christmas break lol on a good note my baby walked yesterday she took about 8 steps woohooo

Yes the pink one from Walgreens is the one 1 have. I'm not too thrilled with it, but I'll probably use it next cycle. I think I may have to heat it up longer than my other bbt. Right now I'm going with my regular thermometer. I don't want to use 3 different ones this cycle. Plus the temps are much more stable on the regular one.

I used the regular one 4 times with a little bit of time in between and got 98.4, 98.5, 98.5, 98.6. I used the bbt 2nd and 6th and got 98.04 and 98.34. I went ahead and recorded the 98.5 and it's not that far off from the 98.34 either... but it is far from the 98.04. Either way 98+ is definitely what I would consider a post-O temp for me.

If I didn't conceive, I would expect to start spotting in 1-2 days and have AF in 2-3 days. I suppose all of those could be backed up 1 day too.

Stacey- I hope you feel better really soon! Wow that will be a fun appt taking 3 kids. And YAY for Alice walking!!!!

af need to stay away and a bfp needs to come your temps are going up nice... after my antibiotics this morning i feel great my head doesnt hurt and my nose isnt going crazy ahhh so much better yea i think ill have them take books and coloring books dh wont leave me up there by my self i tried to tell him to stay home with them but no she is sooooo cute walking

Tell him 3 hours of peace and quite would do you some good. 3 kids at the docs that long would be pretty stressful. Oh and Alice is an early walker if she's walking on her own already! DS was fairly early at 10 months but I've seen an 8 month old walking around and it looked so strange!

i did tell him that he wants to be there in case its bad news he is going to see if his dad will keep the big girls for us he is as bad as me about leaving alice i know i wish i would of had my cam out my oldest walked at 10 months my mom says my sister walked at 8 months she can take her sweet time walking steps here and there are fine by me but walking all the time i think i will cry so not ready for her to grow up that much

Awww too cute!! I usually don't watch baby videos but I watched this and it made me happy. She'll be running around in no time!

Wow so I just used both thermometers at the same time...bbt was done quickly and read 97.90, reg. took longer as usual and was at 98.7. That's a huge difference! Grrrr....

Well, if this is a bfn cycle, then my body/temp is evil. I suppose it's possible all of my thermometers have been evil too lol. Who knows. I have 1 test left and I'm going to try to hold out til tonight after our family Christmas, but because I'll be busy and away from home all day today. If I don't have good concentration, I'll have to wait til tomorrow. If if this test is bfn, I'm just going to enjoy Christmas and wait to see if AF comes.

Thanks. Well with a 5 hr hold I got yet another BFN. I got a little excited too because my cervix has gotten higher each day the past 3 days and today it was almost unreachable. Just got back a few mins ago so I need to get some things done (load of laundry, bags packed, stuff put away) then get us and the kids (have my niece tonight) to bed. I'm just going to enjoy my Christmas out of town, still temp, and see what happens. I should be able to get on here over the next couple days, though, since my MIL has wireless internet and we have an iPad.

Stacey, I hope you're feeling better. I feel like I should have a bfp already if I was going to have one, but I know anything is possible. It seems more likely that I'll see AF in a few days, but I'm still hoping for a BFP of course.
